  • Patent number: 11081026
Abstract: A self-laminating rotating cable marker label is constructed of a transparent film having a first adhesive area, an adhesive-free smooth area, and a second adhesive area. A print-on area forms one side of the transparent film, the print-on area adapted to receive indicia identifying the cable about which the marker label is applied. A perforation extends across the transparent film providing a line of separation of the transparent film. When wrapped around a cable, the second adhesive area overlies the print-on area such that the cable identifying indicia is visible through the transparent second adhesive area. As the transparent film is wrapped around the cable, the first adhesive area adheres to the cable. The remainder of the transparent film is rotated, breaking the perforation, whereby the smooth area of the film in contact with the cable provides smooth rotation of the label around the cable.

  • Patent number: 9735561
Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly (14) of a cable-connecting device (10) and a multi-core cable (11), which form a mechanical, explosion-proof connection to each other. For this purpose, the cable-connecting device (10) has a plastically deformable outer sleeve (18) having a crimping section (23). A hollow cylindrical inner sleeve (19) made of elastically deformable material is arranged between a cable sheath (13) made of elastomer and the crimping section (23). An elastic deformation of the inner sleeve (19) and of the cable sheath (13) is caused by radially plastically deforming the crimping section (23). Any gaps (40) present within the cable sheath (13) are closed due to the radial forces in the crimping section (23) such that spark-gap-free contact between the cable sheath (13) and the cores (12) of the cable (11) and between the cable sheath (13) and the inner sleeve (19) is ensured.

Abstract: An IV bag/line safety device including a tag set and a bag attacher removably connected to the tag set. The tag set includes a plurality of tags printed with the name of an IV solution. The bag attacher is configured to attach the safety device to an IV bag containing the IV solution printed on the tags. After attachment, the safety device provides visual cues to a user inviting the user to disconnect the tags from the safety device. After disconnecting one or more of the tags, the user may attach those tags to an IV tubing line connected to the IV bag through which the IV solution contained in the IV bag flows from the IV bag into a patient. This enables the user to quickly identify a given IV tubing line having at least one tag attached thereto as containing a particular IV solution.
