Cross-over Patents (Class 174/147)
  • Patent number: 9732539
Abstract: Disclosed is a foldable frame which can be widely applied to instant tents which are easily installed or uninstalled and have a rectangular or square bottom surface of various sizes. With a head (100) of the foldable frame, a top plate (110) and a bottom plate (120) are engaged to each other in such a way that the center portion can be rotated in a state in which an upper ends (one end of the first rod) of the poles are respectively engaged to the rod engaging holes (111 and 111?; 121 and 121?) of the top and bottom plates (110 and 120) in a diagonal direction, so that the top and bottom plates of the head are automatically rotated according to various shapes of the rectangular or square bottom surface, thereby forming an intersection angle between the pole coupling portions formed on the head (an angle of intersection between both pole coupling portions of the head).

  • Patent number: 8592694
Abstract: In one general embodiment, a product includes a metal panel having a main portion and a knockout portion formed therein and detachably coupled thereto, wherein the knockout portion includes at least one member insertable in one or more apertures in the main portion for allowing re-coupling the knockout portion to the main portion after detachment therefrom. In another general embodiment, a product includes a metal panel having a main portion and a knockout portion formed therein and detachably coupled thereto, wherein the main portion includes at least one member insertable in one or more apertures in the knockout portion for allowing re-coupling the knockout portion to the main portion after detachment therefrom.

  • Patent number: 7923643
Abstract: A separator is disclosed which provides an electrically insulating layer between groups of windings in an electrical apparatus, such as a rotating electrical machine. The separator comprises a matrix of interconnected rods. This can allow air gaps to be present between groups of windings, which may improve the cooling efficiency of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5399814
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for bridging a cable over an edge of an exposed flange. An bridge has a first side containing one or more slots capable of receiving the edge of the flange, and a second side curved to allow a cable to pass over the device without kinking or allowing a bend radius less than that of the second side.

  • Patent number: 4307755
Abstract: A synthetic resin, fiberglass reinforced tubular member having an integrally attached metallic element is disclosed, along with a pressure gelation method of fabricating the same. The tubular member is used in making electrical hot line tools, and to this end the metallic element is composited to the tube body without use of metallic fasteners or the like. In practice, a preimpregnated fiberglass material is wrapped about a mandrel to present a predetermined number of layers thereof, whereupon the metallic attachment is temporarily affixed to the fiberglass layer, preferably by placing strips of the wrapped material against the edges of the attachment and in bridging relationship to the wrapping. The fiberglass material is then cured to embed the attachment in the sidewall and yield a fused, void-free monolithic structure.

  • Patent number: 4001672
Abstract: Disclosed is an alternating current transmission, comprising two lines wherein homogeneous phases of different lines are separated from each other by a minimum distance permissible for interphase overvoltages. Installed at the terminals of each of the lines are phase control units varying an angle of phase shift between the voltages of the drawn together phases of the lines. Arranged between homogeneous phases of the different lines, are capacitor banks whereas reactors are installed between the heterogeneous phases of the different lines. The electric current transmission is provided with braking resistors permitting to raise the stability of operation of the generators.
