Clamps Or Clasps Patents (Class 174/197)
  • Patent number: 8273989
Abstract: A vertical cable manager includes a base, an interconnected double-spine assembly topped by a top frame, and a pair of doors. The double-spine assembly is supported by the base. Each door is removably coupled at each lower corner to the base and at each upper corner to the top frame, thus permitting each door to be opened or hinged along either of its lateral sides or removed entirely. The double-spine assembly may support selectively repositionable mounting members, which may in turn support a large cable spool, a selectively repositionable shelf-mounted handle spool assembly, and various other cable management accessories.

Abstract: A wiring unit 1 includes a plurality of crimping terminals 2; and a plurality of insulating plates for holding said crimping terminals. The insulating plate 2 has a terminal groove 5 concaved from the surface, an accommodating portion 6 and a through-hole 7. The accommodating portion 6 is formed in concave from one of a pair of partition walls 9a and 9b constituting the terminal accommodating groove 5. The through-hole 7 passes through the insulating plate 2 and communicates with the accommodating portion 6. The crimping terminal 3 is composed of the electric-wire connecting portion 13 on which the electric wire is crimped and an electric-wire connecting portion 14. The insulating plates 2 are stacked while holding the crimping terminals 3. The electric contact portions 14 of the crimping terminals 3 held in the adjacent lower and upper insulating plates 2 are not superposed.

  • Patent number: 6307158
Abstract: A clip structure for extracting electric signals for measurement, which is improved in accuracy and reliability, and which can be handled easily. In the clip structure, an operating member is rotatably supported in a hollow base member with one end projecting from the base member, and urged in a specified direction. A cylindrical member is provided at the front end of the base member. Elastic wires are stored in the cylindrical member and grip portions are formed in the front portions of the elastic wires, while the rear portions are fixed to a lower portion of the operating member. The grip portions are configured to project from the front end of the cylindrical member when pushed in a direction opposite to an urging force and rotated. A contact pin member is disposed at a lower portion of the base member. One end of the contact pin member is engaged with the rear end of the cylindrical member while the other end is projected from the base member.

  • Patent number: 4247163
Abstract: A cable clamp particularly adapted for use in connection with optical fiber cables is provided. The clamp comprises twin hermaphroditic half portions which intermate and are pivotally movable relative to each other to define two sets of clamping jaws which open and close simultaneously as a result of a scissorlike pivot connection. A locking band such as a threaded nut locks the jaws at one end of the clamp together to securely engage an optical fiber cable sheath and simultaneously to secure the optical fiber of such cable at the opposed end. Transverse slots may be disposed in the clamp body portions enabling strength members of an optical fiber cable to pass therethrough and be clamped to a clamp body portion by a locking nut surface or the like.
