Abstract: An accessory includes: a façade plate presenting an opening; an accessory support mounted to tilt through the opening between a lowered position in which it extends below the façade plate, and a raised position in which a major portion thereof extends above the façade plate; and a locking system including a locking arm movable between a locking position in which a blocking portion of the locking arm bears against a blocking surface of the accessory support, and a release position in which the blocking portion is spaced apart from the blocking surface, and an actuator button, causing each locking arm to move, which actuator button is tiltable about a tilt axis extending parallel to the mean plane of the façade plate. Each locking arm pivots about a pivot axis perpendicular to the actuator button tilt axis, and a return mechanism continuously urges each locking arm into its locking position.

Abstract: An electrical power and/or electronic data unit is mountable in a floor, and is fitted with an upper bezel that is openable and closable to provide selective access to one or more electrical power or data outlets. A bezel supports one or more shutters that are movable between open and closed positions. Optionally, the shutters are supported on an openable main door that provides additional access to the outlets when the main door is open. The main door can be closed and opened with the shutters in either the open or closed positions. Respective top surfaces of the shutters, the main door, and the bezel may be co-planar when the main door and shutters are closed, and the shutters may be hidden entirely beneath the main door when the main door is closed and the shutters are open.

Abstract: A housing assembly is adapted for housing fully pre-wired printed circuit boards populated with diverse electrical components. The housing assembly includes multiple nipples and an optimized geometry for mounting to or mounting within commonly available conduit-related fixtures in a variety of installation configurations. These installation configurations allow for simpler wire routing where voltage separation is required, for greater accessibility to gang junction box cover plates on gang junction boxes to which the housing assembly is mounted, and for more installation options for wide range of common gang junction boxes as compared to existing housings.

The methods include attaching a chassis to an electrical wall box, the chassis comprising at least one hook extending in an upward direction and at least one opening, the at least one hook positioned along a peripheral portion of the at least one opening. The methods include hanging a base module from the at least one hook in the chassis.

The at least one carrying element has a base area and side areas protruding upwards from the base area. The at least one carrying element is connectable with at least one further carrying element along a side area. The side areas have connection elements for connection with the at least one further carrying element, preferably at least one power wire slot for inserting at least one power supply wire and/or preferably at least one signal wire slot for inserting at least one signal wire. Abstract: An electrical device mounting assembly adapted for mounting of power and low voltage components in a shallow wall cavity to supply a television or similar electronic device. The mounting assembly recesses all high and low voltage components behind the wall surface to render them unobtrusive and out of the way. The mounting assembly includes a mounting frame with a peripheral flange, sidewalls, and a rear wall. A corner of the mounting frame is adapted to mount a duplex receptacle at an oblique angle with respect to the sidewalls. The mounting frame includes cable tie-offs for routing cables and at least one low voltage mount for the mounting of low voltage components. The mounting assembly enables consolidation of all power and signal hookups for TV or home entertainment systems in a single assembly that is recessed within the wall and allows flush wall mounting of a flat panel TV.

Abstract: One aspect provides of this disclosure provides a flush wall mounting system for an electronic controller. This embodiment comprises a housing for receiving electrical components therein and having a front panel and a back panel coupled to the front panel. The back panel has a raised portion extending therefrom. This aspect further includes a mounting plate removably couplable to the back panel of the housing and has front and back sides. The front side includes a flange around a perimeter thereof and has a recess formed therein configured to receive the raised portion of the back panel therein. The recess forms a raised portion extending from the back side and configured to be receivable within an opening in a wall. A method for manufacturing the mounting system is also provided.

Abstract: A mounting assembly device, system and method support multimedia/video distribution functionalities. The mounting assembly includes a front face and a rear housing sized to fit within a conventional wall box, e.g., a single gang box. The mounting assembly includes a balun that is adapted to receive and convert signals, such that signals received by the balun may be transmitted from a coaxial cable to twisted pair cable, and vice versa. Additional communication modalities may be supported by the mounting assembly device/system, e.g., conventional jack/plug based communications and/or wireless communications.

The electronic device further includes a cable holding section provided at an inner wall of the housing and having a slit whose width is smaller than a size of the second connector. The cable holding section holds the cable so that a part of the cable reaches the work opening.

Abstract: An electrical junction box is provided to reduce looseness of a cover. The electrical junction box includes a box body and the cover to be slidably mounted on a lateral side of the box body from above. The cover has a front wall and a pair of left and right sidewalls connected to both left and right ends of the front wall to overlap with left and right connecting walls of the box body, providing a U-shaped cross section. The electrical junction box further includes first slide guides provided on both of the cover and the box body and second slide guides provided on both of the cover and the box body. The second slide guides are positioned in areas where the left and right sidewalls of the cover overlapping with the left and right connecting walls of the box body. Further, the second slide guides are closer to the front wall of the cover being mounted to the box body than the first slide guides.

Abstract: An electrical junction box facilitates a worker's wiring of a wire harness without using a superfluous component and allows the workability in assembling the electrical junction box as well as that in disassembling to be improved. The electrical junction box includes a box body and a cover to be mounted to the box body after wiring wire harnesses about the box body. The box body has wiring grooves shaped to have U-shaped cross sections and arranged on its exterior surface to accommodate the wire harnesses, which have been drawn out of the box body through its one side and further led from an upper part of the one side downwardly. Left and right sidewalls defining each groove are provided, at their leading ends, with temporary locking parts restricting slipping of the wire harness out of the wiring groove. The cover is provided with restricting walls (sidewalls, rib) restricting outward deflection of the left and right sidewalls.
