Abstract: Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.

Abstract: A wiring harness includes: a harness main body having a plurality of high voltage electrically conductive paths; and a half pipe as a harness attachment member. The half pipe is formed in a substantially roof gutter shape. The half pipe is provided on a cabling target portion of a vehicle floor where the harness main body is cabled and fixed to the vehicle floor with the substantially roof gutter shape.

The nail plate has a substantially rectangular shape with a width corresponding to the width of the stud. The nail plate has a first and second longitudinal ends with nail tabs for attaching the nail plate to the stud. The ends of the nail plate have at least one recess and at least one protruding portion where the protruding portion can mate with a recess of an adjacent nail plate is ganged together. The nail plates can have coupling members to couple a plurality of nail plates in series in an end to end fashion. The longitudinal ends of the nail plate enable the ends to abut each other with no open portions that can allow a fastener to pass though. In one embodiment the nail tabs extend in a longitudinal direction with respect to a longitudinal dimension of the nail plate.

Abstract: A breakable protector plate is provided for preventing damage to wires or cables which are behind the protector plate. The plate comprises a weakened break line. To prevent nails or screws from penetrating the reduced material thickness at the break line, the surface of the break line is raised with respect to the plate in order to redirect nails or screws into a greater thickness area of the plate.
