Transmission Disconnect Means Patents (Class 177/153)
  • Patent number: 8089638
Abstract: The present invention relates to a stage with a displacement measuring means capable of measuring a displacement, and more particularly, to a stage provided with a displacement magnification means capable of magnifying a displacement so as to precisely measure a minute displacement on the order of nanometers. A stage according to an aspect of the present invention comprises a fixed base, a movable table, a first elastic support, a first actuator, a first displacement converting means and a first displacement measuring means. The movable table is installed to be movable with respect to the fixed base. The first elastic support supports the movable table with respect to the fixed base, and the first actuator generates a displacement of the movable table in one direction.

  • Patent number: 7514640
Abstract: A weighing apparatus comprises a weighing table secured to a support frame by way of a load beam, the load beam being an elongate member having a through hole receiving a securing bolt fixed to the weighing table. In the invention, the securing bolt passes through a bracket, having two limbs disposed above and below the load beam, respectively. A pressure distribution plate is compressed by the securing bolt between one limb, of the bracket and one side of the load beam. On the other side of the load beam, a cylindrical sleeve encircling the securing bolt passes through a hole in the other limb of the bracket, to prevent movement of the bracket transverse to the axis of the securing bolt.

  • Patent number: 4947947
Abstract: An improved measuring device for measuring the unit weight of sliver as it passes through a trumpet includes a trumpet gauge plate for supporting the trumpet and a vibration compensating element mounted on the plate. A plurality of strain gauges for detecting deflections are mounted on front and rear surfaces of a central portion of the plate adjacent a lower portion and the compensating element. The plate is mounted on support means, illustrated as a pair of spring supports, which allow the trumpet to move in response to an overload to eliminate damage to the plate, particularly its central portion where the strain gauges are mounted and to return to its normal position after the overload is gone.

  • Patent number: 4533009
Abstract: A device is provided with weighing apparatus mounted on the movable upper frame and means operable automatically in response to raising of the upper frame beyond its normal transport position to divert the weight of the drum from the base frame onto the weighing apparatus. Said means comprises a rotary catch which is mounted on the base frame and is automatically operable to engage first beneath the upper frame and then beneath a load-sensitive bar of the weighing apparatus in response to successive upward movements of the upper frame to and beyond its transport position and load-engaging members mounted on and slidable relative to the upper frame, which members are automatically operable through the medium of cams on the base frame and a pivoted flap on the upper frame to connect the load to and disconnect it from the base frame when the upper frame reaches its transport and weighing positions respectively.
