The intermediate layer is formed by a foamed material. A thickness of the adhesive layer is 3-20 ?m. The film layer is adhered to the intermediate layer via the adhesive layer. A thickness of the film layer is 2-20 ?m. The surface layer adopts fiber prepreg including fiber and resin, the fiber is unidirectionally arranged, and a weight percentage of the fiber is 20%-50%. A surface density of the fiber prepreg is 10-100 g/m2.

The woven cloth has its weave texture exposed on the front surface. The diaphragm has a high strength because it is made with a woven cloth; furthermore, its hardness is high because the thermosetting resin impregnated in woven cloth is in thermo-cured state. Thus the diaphragm helps implementing a speaker which demonstrates superior vibration characteristics in the high frequency sound region.

    Abstract: A Vibration system part for a speaker device includes a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric made of basalt fiber produced by twist yarn or roving yarn being a continuous long-fiber. The vibration system part for the speaker device may be a diaphragm, a center cap, an edge or a damper, for example. In a preferred example, the woven fabric or the non-woven fabric is impregnated with thermosetting resin or thermoplastic resin. Additionally, a lamination member, such as paper, foam material, resin or a film, is preferably laminated (coated) on the woven fabric or the non-woven fabric. Thus, the vibration system parts for the speaker device, having excellent acoustic property and reliability, can be obtained at a low price.

    Abstract: A speaker diaphragm includes a fabric layer in which impregnated thermosetting resin is thermally cured, and a paper layer integrated on a rear face of this fabric layer. Fluffs of the paper layer filling stitches of the fabric layer are entangled with threads of the fabric layer from a surface of the fabric layer, and are firmly fixed by thermosetting resin. This integrates the layers in the state that the paper layer is filled in the stitches of the fabric layer. Accordingly, internal loss and Young's modulus of the speaker diaphragm can be increased. As a result, the speaker sound quality can be improved.

    Abstract: A diaphragm for use in a speaker is manufactured using a plurality of thin wooden boards having flat rectangular shapes. The thin wooden boards are impregnated with a resin; then, a plurality of cutouts, which are elongated along wooden fiber directions or which are elongated in directions crossing wooden fiber directions, are formed in the thin wooden boards. Instead of the cutouts, it is possible to form a plurality of folded portions elongated in directions crossing wooden fiber directions. The thin wooden boards are integrally laminated together in such a way that the wooden fiber directions thereof mutually cross with a prescribed angle therebetween. The thin wooden boards integrally laminated together are subjected to thermal pressing so as to form a wooden vibrator serving as the diaphragm. Thus, it is possible to easily produce the diaphragm having a high strength and superior acoustic characteristics without causing defects.
