The base pole section is initially secured to a tree. The intermediate pole section or sections and the top pole section are then swung, about the knuckle hinge, into an upright position. This movement is accomplished with sufficient force to embed the tip of the self-tapping screw into the tree. Operation of the dual-action ratchet wrench, remotely from the ground, will accomplish the positive securement of the top of the upright tree stand to the tree while the user remains safely on the ground.

The MLP assembly may also comprise F-brackets and ladder supports for supporting the ladders relative to the mast. The MLP assembly may be placed in a folded configuration for transport thereof or an unfolded configuration for installation. The ladder supports and/or elements of the platform assemblies may rotate toward the mast into the folded configuration and may rotate away from the mast into the unfolded configuration. The MLP assembly may also comprise a plurality of stacking brackets configured for stacking a plurality of MLP assemblies on top of each other for transport to an installation site.

    Abstract: Tree stands are disclosed for providing an elevated standing location. The tree stand can include a support post, a seat rotatably coupled to the first end of the support post, and a platform rotatably coupled to the second end of the support post. The platform can rotate from a transport configuration to an operable configuration. The platform in the operable configuration is approximately perpendicular to the support post. The platform has a tree contact point positioned above a plane of the platform when the platform is in the horizontal position. The platform can comprise a plurality of hexagons with groups of three hexagons intersecting at a point and forming a honeycomb pattern defining a top standing surface on which a hunter can stand. The contact point is configured to create an over-center locking action. The tree stand can also include a stackable ladder coupled to the platform.

    Abstract: An observation stand. In one non-limiting embodiment the observation stand includes a support base, a seat, a platform, and a safety-framework. The support base defines opposite top and bottom ends and first, second and third legs configured in a tripod arrangement. The legs each define an upper end and a bottom end. The seat is attached to, and hence supported by, the upper end of each leg. The platform comprises first, second and third slots. The slots are arranged to respectively accommodate the upper ends of the first, second and third legs. The platform is located proximate to the top end of the support base and below the seat. The platform defines a perimeter. The safety-framework is attached to the perimeter, and helps prevent a user from falling off the platform. An optional ground spike can be fitted to one or more of the legs.

    Abstract: A U-shaped bracket having an adjustable width is telescopically inserted around a side rail of the ladder by pushing the bracket onto the side rail with the open end of the bracket receiving the side rail as the bracket is pushed onto the side rail. Side walls of the bracket have extended wall portions that stick out past the rear of the side rail. A paint can holder can be telescopically inserted through a set of aligned holes in the extended wall portions to couple the paint can holder to the side rail of the ladder. A paint roller pan holder can also be telescopically inserted through a set of aligned holes in the extended wall portion to couple the paint roller pan holder to the side rail of the ladder. The paint roller pan holder includes a pivot connection to allow the portion of the holder that supports a paint roller pan to be leveled relative to the horizontal.

    Abstract: An architecture is presented that consolidates scaffold stair units to one unit with a multi-fit hook device. The multi-fit hook device for scaffolding comprises a bracket with an opening at one end. The bracket further comprises slotted holes formed in the bracket, outside the opening to aid in securing the multi-fit hook device to an access way. Hardware, such as screws or bolts, is inserted through the slotted holes to secure the bracket to the access way. The opening at one end of the bracket is formed to accept scaffold tubing indeterminate of size, and can be used on any scaffold system. Thus, the opening is not scaffold tube style specific and does not require a separate unit for each scaffold system. Instead, the multi-fit hook device permits the same access way to be used on multiple scaffold systems.
