  • Patent number: 11280330
Abstract: The pumping device includes a barrel, a cover, a pumping mechanism, a positioning ring, and plural posts. The barrel has plural first positioning portions extending upward near a bottom thereof. The cover is disposed on the barrel to selectively close the barrel. The pumping mechanism is disposed on the cover for pumping liquid in the receiving space outward or pumping liquid outside into the receiving space. The positioning ring is detachably combined by two semi-ring bodies and is sleeved onto the cover and the barrel to position the cover on the barrel. The positioning ring has plural second positioning portions. Each of the posts connects the positioning ring and the bottom of the barrel therebetween. Each post is detachably connected to one of the first positioning portions and one of the second positioning portions therebetween so that the two semi-ring bodies are unable to separate freely.

  • Patent number: 10914421
Abstract: A grease gun is provided comprising a body having a reservoir bore with a plurality of grooves; a grease reservoir is in communication with the reservoir bore and has a reservoir groove on an outside surface of the reservoir. A retention fastener is received by a groove and is in operational engagement with the reservoir groove to removably retain the reservoir. The retention fastener may be connected to a fastener bracket via an aperture. The bracket is connected to a push-button via a connection mechanism. The grease reservoir may be removed or mounted to the connection aperture by exerting force on the button which transfers the force to the bracket via the connection mechanism. The force causes movement of the bracket along the aperture which deforms the retention fastener to allow the grease reservoir to be mounted/removed.

Abstract: A downhole vibration assembly includes a valve positioned above a rotor that is disposed at least partially within a stator. The rotor is operatively suspended within an inner bore of a housing and configured to rotate within the stator as a fluid flows through the vibration assembly. The valve includes a rotating valve segment and a stationary valve segment each including at least one fluid passage. The rotating valve segment rotates with a rotation of the rotor. In an open position, the fluid passages of the valve segments are aligned and a fluid flows through the valve. In a restricted position, the fluid passages of the valve segments are partially or completely unaligned, thereby temporarily restricting the fluid flow through the valve to create a pressure pulse. The unobstructed pressure pulse is transmitted through the drill string or coiled tubing above the valve.

  • Patent number: 8069950
Abstract: A device that relieves lubricant pressure in a divider block lubrication system into a fluid reservoir, a container, or directly back into the compressor frame to which the tubing is connected. This eliminates housekeeping, environmental, safety, and compressor component failure concerns associated with current atmospheric rupture assemblies that relieve directly to the atmosphere. The environmental compressor protection assembly contains a spring set to a pre-determined pressure. Lubricant pressure in excess of this pre-determined set pressure results in spring compression and opening of a relief path. The assembly preferably remains in a full open position and must be must be manually reset to the closed position to prevent fluid flow in the system. The relief path can lead to a fluid reservoir, a container, or directly back into the compressor frame. Flow of lubricant through the relief path results in loss of flow to the lubrication system.

A draw rod extends into the casing through the cover and carries an internal pressure collar with a compression spring acting between the cover and the pressure collar. A small section opening is provided in the casing at the pump attachment end for the expulsion of air from the casing. The draw rod can be clamped in position with respect to the cover by a clamping device and the design of the cover is such that when the draw rod is clamped in position and then pushed inwardly of the casing, movement of the cover in the casing is facilitated.

  • Patent number: 4210225
Abstract: A liquid-oil feeder is provided for supplying various metered amounts of oil to a plurality of regions. The feeder has a tank of oil and an oil pick-up chamber reciprocating in and out of the supply of oil. The chamber contacts a transfer plate and a longitudinally adjustable rod displaces the oil from the chamber to the transfer plate. The metered amount of oil then flows from the transfer plate through a spout to an outlet leading to an oil line for carrying the oil to the various regions. A plurality of such chambers and transfer plates, displaced as a unit and each associated with a separate adjustable rod and outlet, may be provided. The feeder is capable of supplying oil in a continuous flow of droplets and also has flushing apparatus for supplying a stream of oil to various regions.

Abstract: An oiler for a motorcycle chain has a container for an oil can the discharge therefrom controlled by a plunger exposed at one end. The container has a port and includes an open-ended chamber which the can fits and a cap provided with a lever yieldably held in a first inoperative position and moved into a second position by means operated by the operator and in the second position the plunger is actuated to effect oil discharge through a conduit extending through the container port. The container is attachable to the frame of the motorcycle in a position such that discharged oil is delivered to a course of the chain.

  • Patent number: 4094382
Abstract: A lubricant feed system for use in lubricating the cutting attachments of a chain saw having an internal combustion engine and a lubricant tank. The feed system has a system of passageways permitting flow of lubricant from the tank to the guide bar. A check valve and a manually operable plunger are positioned in the passageway and spaced from each other to define a first chamber. The check valve permits flow from the tank to the bar pad and is openable by pressure in the tank. A metering valve for regulating the flow from the check valve to the bar pad is reciprocable between a closed and an opened position. The reciprocation and thus the position of the valve are controllable by manually operable means extending from the metering valve to the exterior. The metering valve has means to urge it to the closed position. The urging means exerts a force that can be overcome by operation of the plunger.

  • Patent number: 3983958
Abstract: Apparatus is provided for attachment to a bearing housing through an access conduit, which provides means for allowing observation of the lubricating oil in the bearing housing, ascertaining the level of oil in the lubricating housing, and maintaining a desired fluid level in the bearing. The apparatus provided has an upper chamber and lower chamber, separated by a partition. An opening in the partition allows fluid communication between the upper and lower chambers with a tube connected to the opening and extending a distance into the lower chamber. An aperture through the housing in the lower chamber above the lower end of the tube allows ambient pressure in the lower chamber. Lubricating oil in the two chambers may be pushed from the chambers through the access conduit by a plunger in the upper chamber when the aperture is covered by the hand to remove any blockage of the conduit and then upon withdrawal of the plunger bringing fluid back into the lower and upper chamber.
