Abstract: A lubricant dispenser includes a lubricant container that has an outlet opening for lubricant, a piston disposed in the lubricant container, and a cap connected with the lubricant container, having a device for generating a gas that impacts the piston. The device for gas generation has a gas cell with an electrolyte fluid and electrodes for electrochemical gas generation, a power source, as well as an electrical connection between the power source and the electrodes with a switch. The cap is a plastic injection-molded part produced in one piece, formed from several parts, using the multi-component injection-molding method, which part is made of an outer ring made of insulation material and an insert that forms the gas cell, having two electrically conductive wall regions as electrodes, as well as having an intermediate piece that separates the conductive regions. The insert contains a sponge saturated with electrolyte fluid, and is closed off with a plastic lid.
Abstract: An adaptor (100) for insertion into a housing (900) has a gap (105) at least one tab (101) having a stop (401). The housing (900) has an adaptor seat (703), a tang (705) having a stop (707), and at least one slot (709) designed to receive the at least one tab (101). Once the tab (101) is inserted into the slot (709), the adaptor (100) is rotated in the housing (900) such that the adaptor seat (703) rotates in the gap (105). When the stop (707) of the tang (705) meets the stop (401) of the tab (101), the adaptor (100) is prevented from further rotation, thus providing a unique orientation between the adaptor (100) and the housing (900).

Abstract: An engine is described having a hole for a dipstick which is closed by a cap from which the dipstick depends. The engine body is formed with an overhanging lip adjacent the mouth of the hole, and the cap comprises a spigot rotatably received in the mouth of the hole and a flange extending radially outwards from the spigot to cover the mouth of the hole. The flange is non-circular so that by rotation of the cap relative to the hole, a radially projecting portion of the edge of the flange may be selectively engaged beneath the overhanging lip to prevent axial displacement of the cap and the dipstick relative to the engine body.
Abstract: An oil level regulator is provided for controlling the oil level in the crankcase of one or more refrigeration compressors or the like. The regulator has a closed chamber for containing the oil. A float-controlled switch is operable to actuate a solenoid valve for introducing liquid into the chamber as necessary to maintain the oil level in the chamber and compressor crankcases.
Abstract: A self-closing cap for the filler neck of an oil pan is provided which allows the oil pan of an engine to be filled without the necessity of removing the cap. The cap comprises a lower body having a flat inner bottom surface with a passage in it, and a spring-loaded closing plate that likewise includes an opening. The closing plate is slidably movable over the flat inner bottom surface o the lower body against the force of the spring by means of a handle such that its opening is alignable with the opening in the bottom surface of the lower body to form an oil receiving passage.
Abstract: This storage funnel is designed to retain oil or a gasoline mixture for dispensing into an engine or tank, and is also employed to store parts, etc. Primarily, it consists of a housing that serves as a reservoir for the oil or fuel mixture which will be dispensed by the operator through the employment of a rotatable valve in the housing. The funnel housing also includes a cover over the oil or fuel mixture that is pivotal, and a filler neck is included in the cover for filling the reservoir, a cap being provided on the filler neck for closure and which is opened to serve as a vent when the oil or fuel mixture is being dispensed. A second outer cover is also provided to cover articles stored on top of the other cover.
