    Abstract: The present invention provides an automatic dish serving system comprising: a supply center for supplying articles such as food and drink; a customer's seat to which the articles are served; a carrier wagon traveling along a route between the supply center and the customer's seat for carrying the articles of food and drink loaded on the carrier wagon; and a route guide means for guiding the carrier wagon so as to take an appropriate route, wherein the customer's seat is provided with a turntable for retaining the served articles of food and drink and provided with an arrival portion to which the carrier wagon arrives and wherein the carrier wagon is provided with a transfer means for transferring the articles between the turntable and the carrier wagon.

    Abstract: A typical embodiment of the invention described herein discloses a prepared and packaged food delivery system that permits one attendant to serve several car ports. An electrically driven carrier for transporting a gimballed tray for money and foodstuffs has a dynamic brake that permits the carrier and tray to coast to a stop and, if desired, reverse direction after a brief delay. This feature prevents spillage. An additional feature of the invention provides advertising space illumination on the carriage with adjustable illumination time.

    Abstract: A self-propelled car and load-conveying container on the car travel along a track system having horizontal and vertical track runs with bends or curves between such runs, and having inside and outside corner bends or curves between horizontal track runs . The track system also has switches to connect the system between various stations at various locations on the same or different building floors. The track is generally channel-shaped with spaced rail heads at the extremities of the channel legs. The channel web always has vertical orientation for the horizontal and vertical track runs and bends. The track is formed in sections, and the rail heads have replaceable wear strips. The track sections and wear strips have staggered, non-registering joints. Car travel control strips are mounted at desired locations on the track. Spring-pressed, rounded-groove guide wheels support the car on the track. Car movement control brushes are mounted on the car engageable with the control strips.
