  • Patent number: 11136218
Abstract: A method for fastening a rail of an elevator system to a bearing element fixed in an elevator shaft utilizes a clamp set having a clamp and a spacer. The clamp is arranged on a side part of a rail foot arranged on the bearing element whereby the clamp connects to the bearing element in a fastening zone of the clamp and a contact zone of the clamp is situated on a bearing side on an upper face of the side part. The spacer defines a mounting distance between the contact zone and the bearing side such that the clamp is partly elastically and plastically deformed in the fastening zone when connected. The spacer is then at least partially removed so that a distance between the contact zone and the bearing side is reduced.

  • Patent number: 8397437
Abstract: Method and system for installing the guide rails (1, 2), such as the car guide rails and/or counterweight guide rails, in an elevator shaft (3). The guide rails are installed by assembly in phases starting from the bottom (4) of the elevator shaft by placing one on top of the other guide rail sections (51, 52; 61, 62; 71, 72 . . . ) that are shorter than the whole length of the guide rail and by aligning the guide rail sections perpendicularly by means of the laser beam produced by a direction laser (8). The direction laser (8) is moved upwards along with progressive assembly of the guide rail. As assembly progresses the direction laser (8) is supported in the proximity of the top end of the topmost vertically aligned guide rail section at the time for aligning the next guide rail section to be installed in the vertical direction. These phases are repeated until the entire guide rail is assembled.

Abstract: Elevator liner apparatuses are pre-fabricated corresponding to an amount of multiple floors of a building being constructed. Each elevator liner apparatus includes a liner frame sized to accommodate an elevator cab and elevator rails within the liner frame. Rail mounting brackets are mounted to interior walls of the liner frame. The rail mounting brackets have elevator rail sections affixed thereto and have mounting bracket studs mounting the rail mounting brackets to the liner frame and extending beyond exterior walls of the liner frame. Anchor spikes are mounted to the liner frame and extend beyond the exterior of the liner frame such that plywood forms configured to form concrete elevator shaft walls are coupleable to the anchor spikes. Concrete is pourable between the plywood forms and the exterior of the liner frame. The concrete when dried affixes the mounting bracket studs and the anchor spikes in the dried concrete.
