Circular End Patents (Class 190/20)
  • Patent number: 10428986
Abstract: A gimbal expansion joint includes a first clevis adapted to be secured to one end of a first piece of ducting, a second clevis adapted to be secured to an end of a second piece of ducting, and a gimbal arrangement to which the first and second clevises are pivotably connected to form a universal joint between the ends of the pieces of ducting. A flexible duct extends between the first and second clevises to form a passage for fluid communication between the ends of the first and second pieces of ducting. The flexible duct has a respective flange at each end, each flange providing an axially-directed face across which a clamping load is applied to affix the flange to a corresponding axially-directed face of the respective clevis.

  • Patent number: 9198490
Abstract: The described embodiments provide a modular mobile workstation with storage capacity. The apparatus has a modular shell that can be used for a variety of purposes including, for example, a stool and low table combination, a table and coat-rack combination, and a high table combination. The modular shell encloses a removable inner shell that can be used to store goods while traveling with the unit. In one embodiment, two large wheels cap the respective ends of the shell and allow the apparatus to roll freely behind a user. A multi-use handle is also included with the apparatus. In one embodiment, the handle is collapsible and is secured to the apparatus by a securing scarf, which also serves to hold the interlocking pieces of the outer shell together. The unit is useful for travelers needing a mobile workspace, and prevents the need for additional luggage, as it also provides storage capacity.

  • Publication number: 20080105508
Abstract: A two-in-one handbag has different color patterns in two different closed positions. The handbag's two connected halves have inner rectangular facades and have outer arcuate facades having multiple horizontal segment, the first and second halves each having a substantially D-shaped cross-section. Flaps alternately cover the contiguous horizontal segments have outer sides of a first color and undersides of a second color so that a different color pattern emerges in the first closed position as compared to the second closed position. After the handbag is opened normally into two halves, it can continue to be opened when the halves continue to be rotated away from each to reach the second closed position by rotating the first outer arcuate facade along an entire surface of the second outer arcuate facade or vice versa. Each half's compartment is covered by a zippered cover to store objects. Reinforcing closure devices include magnets, snaps, Velcro.

  • Patent number: 7134535
Abstract: This invention is a bag that opens down the center of its length and when filled, easily rolls up into a small package. The topside of the bag comprises two flaps that extend along the whole length of the bag and when these flaps are open, the entire inside of the bag is exposed. Once the items are packed, the flaps are pulled back over the items, and closure is obtained by zipper. At the bottom of the bag is a cylindrical accessory case. This cylindrical bag also provides an excellent cylindrical object to roll the bag around. On both sides of the bag are flaps that are designed such that when the bag is rolled, these flaps will cover the outside ends of the bag and protect the bag.
