Abstract: An all-terrain vehicle has an air ventilation system positioned adjacent a rearmost point of the front ground engaging members and directing air rearwardly through an engine compartment, wherein the air ventilation system includes at least one air scoop adjacent a front of the vehicle for directing the air. In addition, an ATV is disclosed having a rear rack having an integral storage bin, where the storage bin is one piece with the rear rack. The storage bin is sealed.

Abstract: A degradable case for packaging false eyelashes includes a case body, a case cover, an expandable placement bracket and a placement plate. One side of the case body is rotatably connected with the case cover through a spring hinge, and the expandable placement bracket is arranged in an internal cavity of the case body; the expandable placement bracket comprises inserting frames matched and slidably inserted with the placement plate; elastic reeds are arranged between every two inserting frames, and the placement plate is provided with an adhesive tape for bonding false eyelash bodies. In the present invention, the expandable placement bracket is arranged in the case body to fix the placement plate. After the case cover is opened, the expandable placement bracket is used for driving the placement plate to expand, so as to smoothly take the false eyelashes on the placement plate.

Abstract: A modular structure of an interior assembly relates to the field suitcases. A first snap-fit groove is provided around an outer side of a middle frame, and an opening of the first snap-fit groove is provided downward. A second snap-fit groove is provided around an inner side of the middle frame, a first protrusion and a sliding member are provided in the second snap-fit groove, and an opening of the second snap-fit groove is provided upward. An upper end of a shell is snap-fitted into the first snap-fit groove to be combined with the middle frame, and the card is combined with the inner assembled structure. Subsequently, the card is inserted into the second snap-fit groove, the second protrusion fixes the card in the second snap-fit groove through the sliding member and the first protrusion, and the step-like member and the sliding member are fixed by a snap-fit connection.

Abstract: A luggage assembly is disclosed that includes a first piece of luggage and a second piece of luggage. A variable length attachment member such as a strap forming a loop, is affixed to the second piece of luggage. The attachment member couples the second piece of luggage to the first piece of luggage to form an assembly, in which the first and second pieces of luggage are self-stabilized while upright and inclined, and while in motion and while stationary.

Abstract: An automobile roof rail system includes a rail having opposed first and second side walls defining a cavity between the first and second side walls. A retention feature is provided with each of the first side wall and the second side wall. A resilient material first seal is engaged at a first end with the retention feature of the first side wall, and a resilient material second seal is engaged at a first end with the retention feature of the second side wall. A living hinge separates a free second end of each of the first seal and the second seal from the first end. The free second end of each of the first seal and the second seal is directed into the cavity in an as-molded condition.

Abstract: This invention discloses a lock that set on a suitcase of being opened or closed without using a zipper, which including an operating component and a locking component that are separately-mounted; the operating component is set on a non-border position of the suitcase, and the locking component is set on the border of the suitcase, wherein the locking component comprises at least one locking unit, the force transfer between the operating component and the locking component is provided by a force transmission mechanism that connected between the operating component and the locking component; the operating component comprises an operation member, and the locking unit comprises a lock head and a lock hook, wherein driving the operation member can drive the lock head or the lock hook to move through the force transmission mechanism, to lock or unlock the lock. This invention also provides a suitcase provided with the lock as described above.

Abstract: A storage container comprising a four-sided structure having a bottom panel and a pivotally mounted top panel. The container is provided with a lateral beam extending side-to-side across a back panel thereof. Hinge means are fixed to the back panel and extend along three surfaces of the lateral beam, and are fixed to the top panel, such that the top panel is pivotally mounted on the back panel and adapted to open and close with substantially simultaneous engagement on the four sides of the top panel with the four sides of the container.

Abstract: The present utility model relates to a box body structure of a draw-bar box and the draw-bar box. The draw-bar box comprises a box body and a telescopic draw bar. First extrusion-molded blocks are provided at four corners of an upper end of the box body, and second extrusion-molded blocks are provided at four corners of a lower end of the box body, the first and second extrusion-molded blocks respectively being in threaded connection with the box body. The first extrusion-molded block comprises a first outer corner protector located on the outside of the box body, and a first inner corner protector located on the inside of the box body and mating with the first outer corner protector, the first outer corner protector being in threaded connection with the first inner corner protector.

Abstract: Soft-sided luggage having means for preventing unauthorized access through the zipper is disclosed herein. Preferred means for preventing unauthorized access through the zipper include a rigid barrier attached internally to a first side of the luggage, positioned alongside and extending to the length of the zipper track, and extending past the plane of the zipper towards the second side of the luggage. Further security features can also be used with soft luggage provided herein, including padlocks, and flaps crossing the zipper plane, for example.

Abstract: A watertight protective carrying case having first and second case body portions each including an outer containment and inner frame. Engageable lips are formed at one part of each inner frame, the lips matable in a sealing relationship when the case is in a closed condition. A cooperative closure assembly is configured and mounted at the outer containments so that upon engagement of the cooperative closure compressive pressure is applied at the frame lips with the engagable lips entirely enclosed by the cooperative closure. The compression thus effected by engagement of the closure is substantially constant at all locations along the interface of the lips thereby providing a tight seal of the entire interface with no need for the closure itself to be watertight.

Abstract: A luggage structure is disclosed to include a hard plastic body internally decorated with a curtain, a metal reinforcing inner frame and a metal reinforcing outer frame respectively fastened to inner and outer diameters of the hard plastic body, a flexible supplementary frame attached to the topmost edge of the hard plastic body and riveted to the metal reinforcing inner frame, a fabric cover fastened to the flexible supplementary frame and adapted to close/open the luggage, and a fabric shell riveted to the metal reinforcing outer frame and covered over the flexible supplementary frame.

Abstract: A full-gussetted luggage article and an associated method for making a full-gussetted luggage article are provided. The full-gussetted luggage article includes an integrally molded full-gusset and a skin disposed over the full-gusset. An associated method of making a full-gussetted luggage article and a unique handle assembly for a full-gussetted luggage article are also disclosed.

Abstract: The invention relates to a suitcase with interchangeable case-shells, the central part of which (10) includes two stable half-frames (20, 30) bearing one against the other. Said half-frames (20, 30) are used as supports for the two case-shells (41, 42) of the suitcase. Each shell is detachably connected to the half-frame (20, 30) assigned to it. In order to ensure mutual support of the load, each shell (41, 42; 51, 52) edge is extended, at least in partial portions, by a flange (43, 44) the length of which is chosen so as to ensure that, when the suitcase is closed, the flange of the first shell (41; 51) and the flange (44) of the second shell (42; 52) abut against each other.

The first and second parts each having at least two non-parallel sides connected to each other at a corner and extending at an angle to each other. Each side has a rabbet edge and the rabbet edges of the first part are shaped to closely engage the rabbet edges of the second part in the closed position. The edges of each side have a gently undulating profile with at least one arc on each side, one of the parts having convex arcs which correspond to, and closely engage concave arcs of the other part. The corners are rounded and one of the concave arcs extends around each corner.

Abstract: A valence for a luggage or carrying case includes male and female extrusions adapted to be secured to the opposing edges of the case sections. The extrusions include dual structures for positively securing the extrusions to the edges of case sections as well as mating male and female portions adapted to establish a seal between the male and female extrusions when the luggage or carrying case is in a closed condition. The frame extrusions further include structures by which accessory items such as rails can be supported in a convenient manner and for the purposes intended.

Abstract: A luggage case 11 comprises two shells 12 and 13 hinged together along their back wall 19. The case is fastened by three latches. One latch 26 is key operated and located at the middle of the front wall 18. The other two latches 24 and 25 are located at the front of the end walls of the case and prevent gaping of the case when it is overfilled. The latches 24 and 25 are secured by sliding bolts.

Abstract: This invention provides a carrying case made up of two sections of molded plastic which are identical except at their outer edges which meet when the case is closed. One edge includes a tongue with reinforcing ribs which enters a groove in the outer edge to engage a gasket and form a fluid seal as well as strengthening the case. Nothing penetrates the wall of the case, the latches being connected to supports spaced outwardly from the case wall. Sockets on the bottom of the case receive spaced support members projecting from a luggage cart, and can receive connecting elements to enable the cart to carry more than one case. The sockets also can receive wheel units so that a single case may be mounted on wheels, or a plurality of cases may be connected and supported on a set of wheels. The case includes integral feet on the bottom wall to support it, and bosses on the inner walls for connecting items to the interior of the case.

Abstract: A suitcase which includes a lip element along the abutment edge of the lower part of the suitcase so as to circumvent the suitcase and form a seat for the abutment edge of the suitcase upper part, the lip element including a portion which extends outwardly with respect to the suitcase to mount a flexible plastic band element which itself extends circumferentially around the suitcase. The plastic band element, which can include an embedded metal foil, is shaped to contact and seal against the upper and lower parts of the suitcase when they are positioned together to close the suitcase, and thus also to hide the butt joint when the suitcase is closed.

Abstract: A hardware assembly, which is readily adaptable to luggage cases of widely varying constructions, dimensions and configurations, includes a housing which may be positioned within cut-outs in adjacent edges of the side walls of the luggage case, and be mounted on the exterior of one side wall. The housing contains slideable latches for engaging associated hasps mounted on the exterior of the other side wall, and a flexible member connecting the latches to a slideable actuator mounted on the housing for opening the case. The coupling between the latches and the flexible member allows the latches to move to unlatching position independently of the actuator to facilitate closing and latching of the case when the parts are brought together. The actuator is U-shaped and supported for transverse movement on the housing by a rocker located within the housing.

Abstract: A luggage construction in which opposed shells are fitted with mated valances, one of the valances having a flat seating surface with an adjacent first wall and the other valance presenting a second wall parallel to the first so that the valances, in mating engagement, define an outwardly facing channel. Seated in the channel is a mounting member in the form of a flat strip having at its ends relatively thick retaining portions and a thin center portion resulting in a central recess of rectangular shape having opposed end walls. The end walls are formed with overhangs. A lens of matching rectangular shape has its ends in keyed engagement with the overhangs to permit the lens to be pressed laterally edgewise into seated position when the luggage is open. The presented second wall of the channel serves to obstruct the adjacent lateral edge of the lens when the luggage is closed to preclude removal of the lens as long as the luggage is in locked condition.
