Abstract: An ovoid tote with securable drawers reminiscent of a luxury, jeweled egg having an ovoid tote member, a domed lid, a circular mirror disposed upon an undersurface of the domed lid, a topmost compartment disposed underneath the domed lid, an upper compartment disposed underneath the topmost compartment, a lockable middle drawer disposed underneath the upper compartment, a lower compartment disposed underneath the middle drawer, and a plurality of leg members basally disposed to maintain the ovoid tote member in an upright situation when deposited upon an underlying surface, whereby the ovoid tote member with securable drawers is portable upon a shoulder strap and dependable thereon in an upright situation during portage by connection of the shoulder strap to each of a pair of attachment points disposed upon the ovoid tote member proximal the domed lid.

Abstract: An expandable podium has a first part (2) which includes a supporting base panel (7) and a rear panel (8) rising from the base panel, a second part (3) which includes a top panel (9) and a front panel (10) depending from the top panel, wherein in expanded mode of the podium a lower hinge (5) links a bottom corner (10?) of the front panel to the nearest forward corner of the base panel and an upper hinge links a top corner (8?) of the rear panel to the nearest rearward corner of the top panel, each of the upper and lower hinges forming an elongate element the ends of which are connected pivotally to the appertaining base, top, front and rear panels about a respective pivot axis. The pivot axes extend at converging directions that intersect in a common point of intersection, beyond the rear panel.

Abstract: A multi-compartment storage device includes a base portion and a lid for storing various items, such as photographs, recorded media, memorabilia and the like. The storage device includes at least three storage sections for holding various items. The first storage section is disposed at a base of the device. A second storage section stores hanging items. The second storage section includes at least one support member for suspending the hanging items. A third storage section is disposed above the second storage section, and is designed to store other types of materials, such as recorded media and the like.

Abstract: An electrical system that receives power from an external power source that includes an inverter (U1). The inverter (U1) receives DC power and generates a variable voltage output. First and second current collectors (30, 32) connected to the inverter (U1) and receive the DC input through contact with positive and negative poles of the external power source. A motor (M1) and an internal DC bus (+,-) are connected to the current collectors (30,32). A protection circuit is connected across the internal DC bus (+,-), and protects the inverter (U1) from connection to an input of improper polarity. The protection circuit permits the inverter (U1) to deliver a DC output to the power source during a regenerative braking operation.
