Abstract: An article of luggage that incorporates a rechargeable battery that may be used to recharge personal electronic devices with multiple electrical interconnects for interfacing with various types of plugs. The invention is defined by luggage that includes an integral tray for holding liquids, aerosols and gels. The tray is easily slid out of the luggage when the luggage is placed on the x-ray conveyer so that the bag holding the liquids, aerosols and gels is appropriately exposed for proper security screening at airports. The luggage further includes an integral tray for holding a laptop computer. The tray is easily slid out of the luggage when the luggage is placed on the x-ray conveyer so that computer is appropriately exposed for proper security screening. The laptop and liquid trays may be longitudinally slid out of, and into the main body of the luggage, and may be alternately pivoted to provide access to contents held on the trays.

Abstract: A portable closet (10) with an interior (26) that can be used as a separable tote bag is disclosed. The portable closet is a clamshell-type piece of luggage with wheels (18) and an extendable and retractable handle (68). The interior of the piece of luggage includes at least one fold-down shelf (28, 30), and may include several fold-down shelves, as well as conventional pockets and closable compartments. The interior is connected to the piece of luggage such that it can be removed, folded, and configured as a tote bag. While connected, the interior may be moved aside to permit access to an undivided additional storage compartment behind or beneath it.

Abstract: Disclosed is a travel assisting luggage system to carry articles and otherwise assist a person while traveling with the luggage system. The luggage system may include a frame, a container connected around the frame, an axle connected to the frame and to wheels, an entertainment center attached to a container side, a seat system connected to the frame, where the seat system may include a seat extension, a backrest, a support feet, a support feet housing, and a support plate. The luggage system additionally may include an organization system positioned within the container interior.

Abstract: The retracting luggage work station is a rolling suitcase with a retractable shelf that extends out from the top of the suitcase and provides support for a portable laptop computer or food or beverage items while waiting at an airport or other transportation terminal. The shelf also can function as a seat. Vertical telescoping support members are attached to the front of the shelf, and the back of the shelf engages a slot on the interior of the extendable handles of the suitcase permitting the shelf to be height adjustable. An integral carrying strap is attached to the top of the suitcase for aid in stowing the luggage work station in an overhead compartment or under an airplane seat.

Abstract: A hanging shelf system and travel organizer is specifically adapted for use in combination with a suitcase wherein the shelf system is adapted to collapse to a size suitable for removable insertion within the suitcase. The shelf system is configurable between a vertically expanded configuration when deployed wherein a plurality of shelves and walls form storage compartments for receiving clothing and other travel items, and a vertically compact, stowed configuration wherein the travel shelf apparatus is compactly configured for insertion into a suitcase for travel. When the user reaches his/her destination the travel organizer may be removed from the suitcase and hung in a closet in the vertically expanded configuration with spaced shelves thereby providing the traveler with ready access to the packed articles while eliminating the need to unpack and repack.

Abstract: A storage device includes a plurality of shells with each shell having upper and lower ends, front and back faces, and opposed sides. Each shell defines an enclosed interior area and having a door for accessing the interior area. The shells are selectively maintained one above another in a stacked configuration. The shells are allowed to rotate relative to one another so as to selectively maintain respective back faces adjacent one another. The shells are able to separate from one another. A plurality of wheels are adjacent at least one shell back face adjacent a respective upper end or lower end. At least one shell includes a retractable handle. At least one shell includes a hanger element configured to distribute a hanging force throughout the shell upper end.

Abstract: Luggage is disclosed that includes a main body that defines an interior compartment bounded by a top wall, a bottom wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and side walls. The front wall is hingeably connected with one of the side walls and includes a closing mechanism for sealing or unsealing the interior compartment. An accessory compartment is formed within one of the front wall, the rear wall, or one of the side walls. The accessory pocket includes a first sealable access mechanism to permit access to the accessory pocket from an exterior of the main body. It also includes a second access mechanism to permit access to the accessory pocket from the interior of the main body. Wheels are positioned along the bottom wall, and handle assembly is attached with the main body and deployable from a stowed position.

Abstract: A tray support system for a bag having an internal compartment with an access opening in the front wall. The tray support system includes a pair of opposing tray support brackets attached to opposing vertical side walls of the internal compartment. Each of the pair of brackets has a plurality of keyways that are horizontally aligned to form complementary keyways that receive keys carried on the side edges of removable spanners. Each spanner can support an individual tray and includes a recessed notch in its front edge to provide easy access to the tray. The tray support brackets are releasably attached directly to the side walls of the compartment. When the trays are not in use, the spanners may be removed making the space in the compartment substantially unobstructed and useable to store various items. Also, the brackets are easily and conveniently removably so that the bag may be folded for storage.

Abstract: A tray support system for a bag having an internal compartment with an access opening in the front wall. The tray support system includes a pair of opposing tray support brackets attached to opposing vertical side walls of the internal compartment. Each of the pair of brackets has a plurality of ledges that are horizontally aligned to form complementary ledges that receive and support the outer edges of a tray. The tray support brackets may be releasably attached directly to the side walls of the compartment, or attached to rigid inserts which are in turn attached to the side walls. When the trays are not in use, the space in the compartment is substantially unobstructed and can be used to store various items. Also, the brackets and inserts are easily and conveniently removably so that the bag may be folded for storage.

Abstract: A motorcycle travel bag comprising a shell and a shelving insert, wherein the shelving insert provides a convenient and secure apparatus for organizing, storing and transporting various items on a motorcycle. Items may be stored on the shelves of the shelving insert or in various pockets which may be attached to the exterior of the shell.

Abstract: A combined carrying case and workstation for computer components includes a first shell having a first cavity therein. A second shell is pivotally connected to the first shell for pivoting between a closed position, where the second shell is against the first shell to enclose at least a first portion of the first cavity, and an open position where the second shell extends generally perpendicular to the closed position. There is a frame having a stand and being extensibly mounted on the first shell for extension between a retracted position for transport, where the stand is adjacent to the first shell, and an extended position for workstation use, where the first shell is spaced-apart above the stand when the stand is positioned on a flat, horizontal surface.

Abstract: A convertible combination shopping cart seat liner and diaper bag for use as both a seat liner and a diaper bag and methods of converting the same are provided. The convertible combination preferably has a flexible container sized and shaped to flexibly position within a shopping cart seat of a shopping cart. The flexible container has a bottom and a plurality of walls connected to and extending upwardly from the bottom. The plurality of walls include a front wall, a rear wall, and at least a pair of side walls connected to and extending between the front and rear walls so as to define an inner chamber for positioning a child and child diaper items therein. Each of the front and rear walls and each of the pair of side walls has an outer surface thereof sized and shaped so as to simultaneously abuttingly contact the inner surface of a corresponding wall of a shopping cart seat when the container is positioned therein.
