  • Patent number: 9896629
Abstract: An integrated process is provided to produce asphalt, high quality petroleum green coke, and liquid and gas coker unit products. Sulfur molecules contained in heavy petroleum fractions, including organosulfur molecules, and in certain embodiments organonitrogen molecules are oxidized. The polar oxidized sulfur compounds shift from the oil phase to the asphalt phase. The deasphalted/desulfurized oil phase is passed to a coker unit to produce liquid and gas coker products as an effluent stream and recover high quality petroleum green coke.

  • Patent number: 4471175
Abstract: In a rail-bound vehicle which has a vehicle body which can be tilted in relation to supporting bogies when travelling along curved track sections, a current collector for collecting electric current from an overhead contact line is arranged on transverse guides on the roof of the vehicle body, so that it may be displaced in the lateral direction in relation to the roof upon tilting of the vehicle body. The position of the current collector relative to the vehicle body and the overhead contact line is determined by a mast fixed to one of the supporting bogies, which mast is flexibly connected to the current collector.

  • Patent number: 4194603
Abstract: A trolley rail housing provided with a plurality of parallel open-bottom slots extending lengthwise thereof has an electric conductor mounted up in each slot, with an end portion of the housing offset upwardly and connected by a downwardly inclined portion to the rest of the housing. An electrical pick-up unit adapted to be carried by a vehicle includes a plurality of collectors mounted for vertical and lateral movement, with spring means urging the collectors upwardly. This unit also includes a pair of laterally spaced guide members disposed above the collectors and movable laterally with them and adapted to engage the opposite sides of the rail housing when the pickup unit, separated from the housing, is moved toward its offset end.
