The panels are then secured, one to the other and to the headboard of the flatbed, using releasable latches. The truck body, so modified, facilitates loading and unloading, as, for example, by forklift, accommodates oversized loads, and provides an accessible work surface for tradesmen. The conversion is quick, easy and inexpensive to implement making dropside trucks available to consumers who might not otherwise be in a position to acquire one.

A turning platform may also be used assembled to the front edge of the shower stall platform where the ramp is capable for connection to either the right or left side of the turning platform and quick-release pins are provided between the ramp and turning platform and between the turning platform and the shower stall platform. The sides of the ramp and of the turning platform have vertical, upturned flanges to guide and retain the wheels of the invalid's chair as the invalid is transported up the ramp and onto the shower stall platform by an attendant. There is a removable safety bar installed across the front edge of the shower stall platform to retain the invalid's chair within the shower stall.

    Abstract: A pair of longitudinally extended stringers include pins at the upper ends thereof to detachably engage apertures drilled in the open tail gate of the vehicle so that the stringers extend to the ground at approximately the same angle as the open tail gate. A plurality of cross members or rungs are secured in spaced and parallel relationship to cables, chains or the like and the lowermost cross member is bolted between the two stringers adjacent the lower ends thereof. When the stringers are secured by the upper ends into the apertures of the tail gate, the cross members are unrolled upwardly along the stringers and the uppermost cross member is then detachably secured to the stringers adjacent the upper ends thereof thus forming a ladder type ramp for the loading or unloading of a snowmobile. If planks are laid longitudinally between the stringers, then any wheeled vehicle such as an all-terrain vehicle or the like, may be loaded or unloaded along the ramp.

    Abstract: A hand truck having a frame two short and two long sides; a wheel and axel assembly attached to the frame; a lifting assembly extending between the two short sides; said lifting assembly comprising a frame center pole rail having an attached gear rack, a gear box movably attached to the center pole, said gear box including, a toothed that meshes with the gear rack, a worm gear having a drive shaft that meshes with the toothed pinion, wherein rotation of the drive shaft causes the worm gear to drive the pinion along the gear rack; a lift bracket attached to the gear box comprising a receiving plate with at least one slot; and at least one removable lift platform comprising a platform plate with at least one key that is securely receivable into the slot; wherein the gearbox is drivable using a power supply supplied by a user.
