  • Patent number: 10112781
Abstract: Provided is a container autorotation device and method. The container autorotation device comprises a conveying rack used for conveying a plurality of containers, at least one container base connected therewith and comprising a container clamping end and a driving end, and a driving component used for driving the container base to autorotate and comprising a motor and a clamping part driven by the motor. A slot matched with the driving end is formed in the clamping part such that when the driving end moves into the slot and stay, the driving end is driven by the clamping part to rotate. The slot in the clamping part is designed so that the driving end is pushed against the slot when entering the slot and rotating in the slot. Autorotation is achieved with mutual cooperation between the clamping part and the driving end.

  • Patent number: 8944235
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a rotation assembly for a transfer member of a transfer assembly. The rotation assembly comprises a torque transmitting assembly comprising input and output members, a link comprising a first end operably coupled to the input member and a second end comprising a follower member, a shaft comprising a first end operably coupled to the output member and a second end engaged with a portion of the transfer member, and a track. The follower is movably engaged with the track and circumnavigates about a path in correspondence with the track. The follower member is moved radially relative to a first rotation axis by the track as it circumnavigates about the path to transmit torque through the torque transmitting assembly and to the shaft. The torque causes a portion of the transfer member to rotate between a first position and a second position.

  • Patent number: 6471036
Abstract: A drum-shaped conveyor rotates about a fixed axis and its core carries a set of angularly distributed sections indexible about axes extending radially of the fixed axis when the core is set in rotary motion. Each section has several parallel flutes for sets of discrete filter cigarettes which are turned end-for-end, as well as moved circumferentially and axially of the core, in response to each revolution of the core. Rotation of successive sections about the respective radial axes takes place at timely spaced intervals and in opposite directions. The conveyor can receive filter cigarettes from a maker and inverts the sets of cigarettes prior to admission of such articles into a packing machine.
