Abstract: A belt conveyor, a collecting hopper and a screw conveyor are sequentially disposed below a chute for feeding hydrogenated petroleum resin pellets from a pelletizing portion. Even when the hydrogenated petroleum resin pellets fed onto the belt conveyor are dropped off or scattered, the hydrogenated petroleum resin pellets can be collected by the collecting hopper that is located below and can be securely transferred to an outside by the screw conveyor.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing material cascading through a treatment chamber uses a plurality of vertically stacked shelves divided into trays by spaced apart openings. As the shelves rotate, material contained with each tray is discharged through one of the openings to one or more trays of an underlying shelf. The material to be processed is supplied to the uppermost shelf through one or more material inlets, and discharged from the lowermost shelf through one or more material outlets. The material that enters each feed opening stays substantially together as it spirals down through the chamber. The multiple trays provide for shorter retention time of material within each tray which is adaptable for processing heat sensitive materials along separate material flow paths within the treatment chamber.
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for integrated curing and cooling of golf ball cores. A plate die is used to separate hot golf ball cores from a post-mold matrix. The hot golf ball cores are held in an insulated unit to maintain the elevated temperature of the golf ball cores to achieve additional curing or cross-linking. The hot, cured golf ball cores are then passed through a cooling section where ambient, turbulent air is passed over the golf ball cores to achieve the desired level of cooling. The cooled golf ball cores are delivered to a pneumatic delivery system for additional processing. A cueing hopper is also provided between the insulated unit and the cooling section to serve as a buffer or accumulator in the system.

Abstract: A machining system includes a plurality of machine tools, a transfer apparatus configured to move a workpiece and a plurality of chip conveyors. Each of the plurality of chip conveyors includes a feeding device, a discharging opening and at least one of a first opening and a second opening. The first opening communicates with the discharging opening of an adjacent chip conveyor of the plurality of chip conveyors. The second opening receives chips generated by at least one of the plurality of machine tools. The discharging opening is for discharging the chips in the chip conveyor. The feeding device is configured to move the chips in the chip conveyor toward the discharging opening. A total length of the chip conveyors is easily regulated by changing the number of the chip conveyors so that the machining system is easily and quickly reconstructed.
