Patent number: 12060233Abstract: Provided is a stick pick-up device which has a simple structure, is easy to control, and is capable of reliably picking up sticks one by one. The stick pick-up device includes a stick stock portion, a reverse inclined wall, and a push-up portion. The stick stock portion includes a stick receiving portion that is inclined down toward a downstream side and can store a plurality of sticks. The reverse inclined wall is provided on the downstream side of the stick receiving portion, and has a reverse inclined surface inclined in a direction covering over a stick receiving portion side. The push-up portion is provided on a reverse inclined surface side, has a stick push-up surface inclined down toward the downstream side, pushes up the sticks on the stick push-up surface one by one along the reverse inclined surface, and causes the sticks to move downstream over the reverse inclined wall.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 2022Date of Patent: August 13, 2024Assignee: HITEC CO., LTD.Inventors: Tatsuo Nakamura, Katsuya Tanabe, Hirokatsu Harasawa, Shinya Yamada

Patent number: 6763932Abstract: The particulate material handling system comprises a tube, an endless belt that passes through the tube and returns outside of the tube, and a flighting that is suspended a predetermined distance from the belt through the entire length of the tube. The distance may be varied for the various materials being handled. An intake hopper is mounted at one end of the tube for receiving the material to be moved and a discharge spout is mounted at the other end of the tube for discharging the material from the tube. The endless belt and flighting are driven such that their speed may be varied and such that their relative speeds are synchronized to drive the material at substantially the same speed whether it is being carried by the belt or the flighting. The combination of the belt and the flighting drives the material through the tube, minimizing damage to the material, which may be granular fertilizer, pulse crops, grains or other particulate material.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2003Date of Patent: July 20, 2004Assignee: Batco Manufacturing Ltd.Inventors: Arthur Stenson, Bret Watson, Barclay Tanner

Patent number: 6415909Abstract: An apparatus for conveying bulk material generally consisting of a support and a guide means defining a passageway. The passageway has a vertical section and a horizontal section cantilevered to the vertical section. A endless rope assembly passes around the passageway. Disc are displaced along the rope to catch and transfer bulk material along the passageway. The bulk material is injected into the passageway at the lower end of the vertical section and is ejected at the end of the horizontal section. A motor drives sprockets located at the ends of the passageway and at the cantilevered portion. Such guide means may consist of a single passageway or a pair of passageways of differing lengths, and such support may be movable on wheels.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 2000Date of Patent: July 9, 2002Assignee: The Young Industries, Inc.Inventors: Andrew P.
