Abstract: In a transfer system, transport beams are displaced in three types of motions, i.e. toward each other, along a longitudinal extension thereof for advancement, and up and down. Two of these types of motions are triggered by a double-function motor. Such a double-function motor includes a shaft, which simultaneously rotates and displaces back and forth in linear fashion along the longitudinal extension thereof.
Abstract: A device (1) for containing and dispensing tablets, wherein vial bottles (3) filled with tablets wait in waiting spaces (701a, b, c) and the vial bottles (3) are taken out from the waiting spaces (701a, b, c). A plurality of pairs of holding members (703a, b) facing each other for holding the bodies of the vial bottles (3) are installed in the waiting spaces (701a, b, c). Also, stock sensors (710) in the same quantity as the pair of holding members (703a, b) are installed to check for each pair of holding members whether a vial bottle is held on the pair of holding members (703a, b) or not.
Abstract: A material handling apparatus includes a first support member, for supportively carrying a pair of opposed jaw members, and a second support member which is slidably attached to the first support member, for linear movement with respect thereto. The second support member has at least one slot formed therein. The apparatus also includes a pair of opposed jaws, which cooperate to define a workpiece-holding space therebetween. The jaws are pivotally attached to one another and to the first support member.
Each of the jaws has a hinge portion and an extension opposite the hinge portion. The extension may be made detachable from the hinge portion. The hinge portion of each jaw has an inner portion and an outer portion, with the hinge portions closely aligned with each other.
Each of the jaws also has a support post connected to the respective outer portion thereof, and the support posts fit slidably in the slot of the second support member.
Abstract: A printed matter transport device. Printed matter is gripped by a gripping mechanism of a chain and made to travel along a guide rail, to improve the durability of the guide rail and chain, to prevent misalignment, falling out and damage when an external force acts on the printed matter, to improve durability of a connecting part of a chain link and the gripping mechanism, to reduce manufacturing costs, and to enable the printed matter to be firmly gripped. A chain with grips having first rollers respectively arranged on two sides in the center of the longitudinal direction of the bases, a second roller on one side perpendicular to the common center line of the first rollers and a grip mechanism on the opposite side, a guide rail, a chain drive and a cam member are provided.
