The mobile module is movable between a first position defining a first continuous path along the first path and third path, and a second position defining a second continuous path along the second path and the third path.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 19, 2009Publication date: November 12, 2009Inventors: John M. Patent number: 7591363Abstract: A system for dividing an object flow can provide slides which are constructed and arranged to displace one or more objects at a time from the object flow toward a different location, preferably another object flow. The slides can be pivotal away from the objects being displaced, thus releasing the objects at the desired location, the slides being reusable as the slides revolve about one or more rollers to and from displacing the objects. Preferably some of the objects are displaced from the object flow at an acute angle with respect to the direction of conveyance, which can provide displacement at a lesser force.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 2007Date of Patent: September 22, 2009Assignee: INDAG Gesellschaft fur Industriebedarf mbH & Co. Patent number: 7475769Abstract: A device for handling packets of cigarettes has two drying beams, each for feeding a line of packets to an intermediate station; and two transfer units, each for transferring the incoming packets from a respective drying beam from the intermediate station to a single output conveyor; the transfer units and the output conveyor are powered by the same motor, and the speed of the drying beams is so regulated that the packets are fed to the intermediate station in phase with the movement of the transfer units.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 2006Date of Patent: January 13, 2009Assignee: G.D. Patent number: 7419047Abstract: Discloses a positioning fence for use in lumber saw mills that facilitates automated positioning of lumber for cutting. A continuous moving track loop has a plurality of paddles laterally positionable across the width of the track. Each paddle has a brake to hold the paddle in position. A positioning cam releases the brake to align each successive paddle to a desired lateral offset and a zeroing cam resets each paddle to a zero position.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 2005Date of Patent: September 2, 2008Assignee: Sec Sawmill Equipment Company Inc.Inventors: Michael Derit Cesselli, Paul L. Patent number: 7404482Abstract: A lateral guidance device including a hollow guide located along the conveyor track of a goods handling system on which products are guided laterally, composed of profiles that fit together with each other, each with an inner face and outer face, one of which is used for guidance purposes. An expandable chamber, housed in the hollow guide, is supplied with expansion fluid from a supply means. The outer faces are returned in to a position of minimum distance (dmin) between these faces by return means, when the fluid feed to the expandable chamber ceases. Thus, the distance between the outer faces is proportional to the supplying of the chamber with expansion fluid, between a minimum distance (dmin) and maximum (dmax).Type: GrantFiled: May 10, 2005Date of Patent: July 29, 2008Inventor: Hervé Deflandre

Publication number: 20080168876Abstract: A device is provided for supporting plate-shaped materials for at least one separating operation in the plate-shaped material using a separating mechanism that is movable at least in the X direction during a separating operation. The device includes a first supporting table having a first supporting surface and a second supporting table having a second supporting surface. The supporting surface of the first supporting table and the supporting surface of the second supporting table are spaced apart from each other by a gap which is located below the separating mechanism. Each of the supporting tables comprises a separately driven belt conveyor which is guided by a plurality of rollers, each supporting surface being formed between at least two of the rollers which are spaced apart from each other and lie in a plane. The at least two rollers that bound the supporting surface are movable independently of each other in and counter to the Y direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 3, 2008Publication date: July 17, 2008Applicant: TRUMPF WERKZEUGMASCHINEN GMBH + CO.
