Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices include a personal protection gown to provide frontal protection for the user. The personal protection gown includes a neck protector extending from a front neckline of a body portion of the personal protection gown. The neck protector partially couples to the front neckline such that a separation gap between the neck protector and the body portion is formed (e.g., on either side of the partial coupling and around the back of the neck). Extension straps of the neck protector are pulled around a neck of the user and form a knot to secure the neck protector and the personal protection gown in place. The separation gap provides flexibility in how tightly the neck protector is pulled such that the personal protection gown effectively provides zone A coverage (e.g., as defined by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) for different body shapes and sizes.
Abstract: A garment for securing and storing bodily fluid drainage reservoirs and other fluid reservoirs. The garment comprises a loose-fitting body with at least one small aperture for receiving drainage tubing and at least one pocket cloth partly fixed to the body of the garment and partly detachably coupled to the body of the garment which allows for the easy storage and removal of the fluid drainage reservoir. The pocket cloth allows for the continuing support of the drainage reservoir as the drainage reservoir becomes heavier e.g. about 1 kilogram, due to the collection of fluid draining from the patient into the drainage reservoir. The secure storage of the drainage reservoir enables the wearer to move without worry of the drainage reservoir coming loose, losing fluid, or being exposed to a non-sterile environment external to the pocket cloth. The garment may be configured for wear by male and female children and adults.
Abstract: The invention relates to a shirt with a collar attached thereto and a left-hand and a right-hand chest blank which close in the chest area with an underlap having buttons and overlap having button-holes. A reinforcement area is provided which is bounded in a substantially triangular manner by three edges; a first edge which is connected to the underlap or the overlap, a second edge connected to the collar and a third edge connected to the chest blank. There is a button or a button hole below the collar and the level with the first edge.
Abstract: An adjustable neckline garment has a stretchable neckline and a plurality of adjustment devices spaced along the neckline to permit configuring the neckline to a plurality of different shapes.
Abstract: A single dress of simple design is selectively changed into entirely different dresses by changing decorative front pieces which are located on the front of the dress by a rear flap sewed along a line of stitching corresponding in shape to that of a neckline and tucked behind the neckline to hold the respective dress front pieces of different design in place.
Abstract: An article of woman's body armor comprises a carrier garment such as a T-shirt or undervest with front and rear pockets for receiving armor insert panels of soft flexible bullet-resistant material. The front insert panel has slits extending from the side edges thereof with a pair of VELCRO hook and pile tabs on opposite sides of each slit, the tabs of each pair being secured respectively to opposite surfaces of the panel. The edge portions of the panel defining the respective slits can be overlapped and releasably secured by means of the VELCRO hook and pile tabs to form the panel into a bosom-accommodating cup-like shape with the degree of overlap determining the cup size.
