The hand-packing instrument has a mitten shape or a glove shape comprising two sheets overlapped and seamed at their edges, in which the two sheets make a mitten shape having an opening through which a hand can be inserted, a first insertion part for enclosing a thumb and a second insertion part for enclosing the four fingers other than the thumb, and an absorbent attached to the inner surface of one of the sheets.

Abstract: The invention is an article of manufacture comprising a glove or mitten having a thumb region and a forefinger region and a character disposed across the middle finger and thumb regions. The character is placed such that the top of the character's face and mouth is across the middle finger region, and the bottom of the mouth is across the thumb region. The mouth is therefore open when the thumb region and middle finger region are not touching each other, and is closed when the thumb region and middle finger region are touching.

Abstract: A disposable hygienic mitt that is selectively detachable from other mitts, preferably held in a dispensable roll or stack. The mitt has a rectangular body formed of at least an outer absorbent layer and an inner substantially liquid-repellant layer, and has a thumb portion thereof that is integral with the body and selectively individually articulable therefrom with a thumb passage therein. The inner layer forming a substantially liquid-tight interior of the mitt such that a hand selectively fits within the interior and the thumb of the hand fits within the thumb passage. Abstract: A garment with underarm externally accessible breast pockets and method of use. An upper body garment is disclosed having garment arms attached to a garment trunk, and a pocket mouth disposed under each garment arm. A pocket is attached to the garment trunk at each pocket mouth. A passenger positioned behind a driver wearing the upper body garment may insert hands and arms through the pocket mouths and into the pockets for warmth, security, and or intimacy enhancement. The pockets may terminate in conventional pocket shape, mitten shape, or glove shape, which latter two embodiments permit gripping of thumb lobes, major lobes, and/or finger lobes between the passenger thumbs and fingers, thus increasing passenger security. In another embodiment, non-slip material may be attached inside the pockets for increased passenger security. A method of use is disclosed wherein a passenger seated behind a driver inserts hands and arms into the pockets.

Abstract: The combination pacifier and hand cover provides a mitten or similar garment having an attached pacifier, allowing an infant to wear the hand cover and suck on the nipple portion of the attached pacifier. The hand cover may be a sock, a mitten, a glove or any other suitable garment for covering the hand or foot of an infant. The hand cover includes opposed open and closed ends, with the hand cover defining an open interior region therein, which is dimensioned and configured to receive the hand of the infant. The closed end has an aperture formed therethrough. The pacifier includes a nipple portion and a grasping portion. The grasping portion is positioned within the open interior region of the hand cover, adjacent the closed end thereof, and the nipple portion projects through the aperture and extends outwardly from the hand cover.

Abstract: The present invention is a wash glove consisting of an elongated cylindrical tube of elastic terry cloth material, with opposite first and second openings formed on the tube. A thumb aperture is formed on the tube between the first and second openings, said thumb aperture dimensioned to permit the user's thumb to pass there through when the glove is worn. The tube has a diameter which is dimensioned to permit the wearer's hand to be inserted into the tube from the first opening and through the second opening. The terry cloth material is sufficiently elastic and the diameter of the tube is sufficiently narrow that the tube resiliently clings and conforms to the user's hand when the hand is inserted into the tube. The length of the tube between the first and second openings is selected such that when the glove is worn on the user's hand, the second opening of the tube is positioned adjacent the user's fingers and the first opening of the tube is positioned adjacent the user's wrist.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a body shaped as a large open-faced hand made from deformably resilient material. The body has a water-impermeable outer surface and a solid core monolithically formed therewith. The solid core has a cavity that has flanges for receiving a user's metacarpals therein. A rectilinear stabilizing bar traverses longitudinally across the body, is statically seated within the solid core, is intercalated between the outer layers, and has a threaded aperture formed at a midpoint thereof. A mechanism is included for covering an arm of the user such that the user's arm is protected from undesirable air-traveling particulates during clapping conditions. The arm is invisible from an exterior of the arm covering mechanism. The arm covering mechanism is formed from flexible and water-impermeable material for prohibiting the user's arm from becoming soaked during inclement weather conditions.

Abstract: A pot holder/mitt is characterized by formation from a single layer of Z-folded fabric which is formed from hydrophobic and hydrophilic materials which extend from opposite surfaces of the fabric. The front surface of the holder/mitt is formed of hydrophobic material and is adapted to receive a decorative pattern which is printed thereon. The rear surface of the holder mitt is formed of hydrophilic material. The inner surfaces of the pocket are also formed of hydrophilic material for comfort and heat protection for the hand of the user.

The bag is shaped as cone-like and has an open end, a closed end, an outer surface, an inner surface, two heatproof braces, a wave section, multiple top ribs and at least one outer rib. The closed end is formed on a narrow side of the cone-like bag and has a finger section and a thumb section. The finger section and the thumb section both have a palm side surface. The two heatproof braces are respectively formed on the palm side surfaces. Each heatproof brace has an enhancement layer, multiple connecting ribs and multiple nubs. The wave section is integrally formed between the closed end and the open end of the bag. The top ribs are separately formed longitudinally on the inner surface of the bag. The outer rib is formed on the outer surface of the bag.

Abstract: Arm protective knitted articles of clothing that are constructed with a component of a protective ruched barrier that prevents wind from entering the gap that forms in the sleeve opening at the bottom of a coat or jacket sleeve. The protective knitted articles of clothing are constructed of a palm or hand cover at the bottom end, an elongated sleeve that is ruched and tacked at the middle of the garment and a rib at the top end. The construction of the finished article of clothing is a one-piece knitting operation consisting of palm/hand covering, elongated sleeve and ribbed top end. The ruching and tacking of the elongated sleeve are additional sewing operations. The protective ruched barrier located above the palm/handing covering and below the ribbed top end fills the space between the hand covering and the coat or jacket sleeve opening.

Abstract: A personal protective garment, preferably a glove, for protecting at least a portion of the body of a wearer is disclosed. The garment comprises a liner, an overlayer and at least one covering layer. The liner comprises a flexible material and is adapted to be worn on at least a portion of the body of the wearer. The overlayer comprises a milled polymer and is adapted to cover at least a portion of the liner and is secured to the liner. The covering layer comprises a polymer and is adhering to and covering at least a portion of the overlayer. The milled polymer is preferably milled rubber. Also disclosed is a method of making a personal protective garment, preferably a glove.

Abstract: A disposable mitt used for wiping and cleaning babies that inverts to be used as a waste disposal device. The mitt is made up of two different layers, one of a pre-moistened flexible outer layer used to clean up refuse and other waste from a skin's surface, and the other a protective flexible inner layer, usually made of durable plastic that functions to protect the hand from contact with the skin surface. The mitt is used to wipe the skin of the affected area and then hold the refuse materials and any other products used while the user performed the cleaning function (i.e. the diaper, extra wipes, etc.). All refuse materials are disposed of in the mitt apparatus. After wiping the skin surface, the product is inverted so that the inner layers now become the outer layers in order to form a disposable bag. Finally, the use of a pleated edge drawstring ensures that the bag is completely closed and a single continuous loop pull sting ensures that the string does not come detached.

Abstract: This invention, gripping mitt with flap for water sports, incorporates a water proof mitt that fits over the hand of a user that has difficulty gripping sports related devices such as canoe and/or kayak paddle handles. The mitt is made of a waterproof material such as neoprene. The mitt has a flap that has a Hook and loop material such as velcro incorporated into the flap. The palm side of the mitt has an opposite “hook and loop” material that holds the flap in a fastened position. When the gripping mitt with flap is in use, the flap of the mitt surrounds a paddle handle and holds the paddle so that the user can make paddle strokes. The hook and loop material on the palm of the mitt and the hook and loop material on the flap provide the gripping force that keeps the hand attached to the paddle.

Abstract: A gripping mitt system for water sports is provided that incorporates a water proof mitt that fits over the hand of a user that has difficulty gripping sports related devices such as canoe and/or kayak paddle handles. The mitt is made of a waterproof material such as neoprene and has a Hook and loop material such as velcro incorporated into the palm side of the mitt. The handle of a paddle has an opposite “hook and loop” material surrounding the handle. When the paddle is in use, the hook and loop material on the palm of the mitt and the hook and loop material on the handle provide the gripping force that keeps the hand attached to the paddle.

Abstract: A mitten is disclosed. The mitten is shaped such that the lateral sides at the bottom of the mitten where the hand is inserted are substantially parallel. Further, the bottom of the thumb side of the mitten extends directly up to meet the end of the thumb receiving part of the mitten. This creates an internal catch which makes it very simple to “find” the appropriate finger and thumb orientations in the mitten. Then, a cinch arrangement is used to draw in the oversized bottom portion at the wrist to secure it to the user's hand.

Artwork designs of features of an alligator are included with the training mitten and glove. A battery pack is mounted on the wrist, and a Velcro™-attachable elastic cuff-strap is stretched around the wrist and battery pack for securement and sealing. The battery pack is connected to heating elements attached inwardly of the closed-cell foam insulator. In use, the battery pack and heating elements are designed for relatively high heat, and the three-layer fabric body with sealing cuff-strap is designed for high heat retention. The heated mitten is also very easy to put on and take off. Thus, a golfer dons the mitten for 5 minute intervals between strokes for flash warming of the hands.

The cleaning mitt constructed from a unitary tubular piece of terry cloth or acrylic/polyester blend material. The material has a smooth surface and an opposing fabric looped surface. When formed, the cleaning mitt of the present invention has the smooth surface on the interior and the fabric looped surface on the exterior to facilitate the collection of dust and dirt. The cleaning mitt is reversible so it may be used with either side turned out and on either hand. Abstract: An improved mitt for cold weather use is configured to provide a variety of modes of wear. The mitt is convertible between a fully closed position for covering the hand and fingers and open positions for exposure of the thumb and/or finger(s) or the entire hand. An internal pocket within the mitt permits continuous or intermittent warming of all or some of the fingers when the mitt is in either a generally open position or closed position. Insertion and removal of fingers and thumb relative the internal pocket is easily accomplished without use of the other hand. The glove is generally of a mitten configuration constructed from one or two pieces of a slick finish fabric or synthetic material and joined on the edges with a coating on the exterior side of the pieces except on the finger and thumb tip area which gives greater grip control without snagging the garments. The coating provides a non-snagging gripping area to allow the user to control the garment especially while donning while having the slick fingertip and thumb tip to allow a smoothing action to prevent folds and wrinkles.

Abstract: A glove exclusive for car washing mainly includes a main glove body made of waterproof fabric; a through hole opened on one single side at one end thereof is provided for inserting a hand; the front and back sides of the glove main body are respectively disposed with a hook and loop fastening band to individually attach an adhesive casing, such as a car washing casing, a water-absorbing fabric casing, a waxing casing, a waxing cotton casing, a cleansing casing for the car interior, a glass grinding casing and a scratching casing for the car body. This exclusive glove is for cleansing or cosmeticizing the car.

The glove insert (52) comprises a lining fabric laminated to a functional layer (42) that is water vapor permeable and waterproof. The inner glove insert (52) is substantially free of folds or bunching of the insert (52) inside the glove (72).

Abstract: An improved article of hand-wear comprising a mitten or a glove having an additional finger or digital section of insulating material, corresponding to the finger section of the article of hand-wear. The article comprises: (a) an inner lining that is preferably moisture absorbent, into which the hand is inserted; (b) an insulating lining made of micro-fibers covering the inner lining; (c) a second insulating micro-fiber ““pouch”” or ““cap”” (hereinafter also ““macrocap””) over the integral fingers or digital section into which the first micro-fiber lining and inner lining is inserted; and (d) an outer cover covering all of the above.
