Abstract: A convertible greeting card that can be converted from a greeting card into an accessory such as a hat. The convertible greeting card can optionally include a message and a decoration. The shape and geometry of the convertible greeting card are typically selected such that brims will extend in a direction generally orthogonal to a first surface of the card when the brim flaps are releasably affixed to one another. Decorations can be disposed on one or more of a first or second surface of the card. A message can also be disposed on a surface of the card.

Abstract: A surgical drape is made from a pair of rectangular panels of drape material which are interconnected at a separation zone so that the panels to be pulled apart following a procedure. A fenestration is punched out of the material of one of the panels, near the perforated zone. The fenestration is covered by a flexible, transparent plastic window, preferably made of a polyethylene film and the perimeter of the window is bonded to the drape panel around the fenestration. The window is larger than the fenestration, and is folded or gusseted at its corners so that its center can rise well above the plane of the fenestration, in order to provide clearance for instruments which may be protruding from a surgical site over which the drape is placed.

Abstract: Provided is a hat formed from a single piece of fabric. The single piece of fabric comprises parallel regions of fabric including first and second headband regions and at least one intermediate region. The headband regions are joined at their ends to form a headband and the intermediate region forms the crown of the hat. The headband regions and the at least one intermediate region are of differing stiffness and/or thickness.

Abstract: An angle-adjustable sun cap includes a band unit, a visor unit attached to the band unit to be rotatable on the band unit, and a cap side coupling device that couples the band unit and the visor unit, in which the cap side coupling device includes an inner coupler and an outer coupler. With the cap side coupling device, the angle between the band unit and the visor unit may be adjusted and the band unit and the visor unit may be correctly fixed at the adjusted angle.

Abstract: An improved article of headwear having a method for securing the brim (16) out of the way of the wearer's view during the participation in various sports, including water sports and/or sports involving high wind. Said headwear having a crown (14) having a first attachment means (18), and said brim of flexible material having a second attachment means (20). Said flexible brim can be flexed upward, folding where said brim attaches to the bottom edge of said crown and continuing to flex said brim upwardly and backwardly until said brim having said second attachment means comes in contact with said crown and first attachment means providing a secure detachable mating between said bill and said crown, thus unobstructing the visibility of the wearer of said headwear. Abstract: A retractable hat tether apparatus for a hat having a cap portion is provided. The tether apparatus includes a guide base movably mounted to the cap portion for movement thereof along a fixed path between a first position and a second position. A flexible tether includes a first end and an opposite second end thereof mounted to the guide base. A bottle opener device is mounted to the first end, and is configured to function as a conventional bottle opener. The bottle opener device includes a clip member for releasable attachment to the cap portion.

Abstract: Enhanced wearing comfort and a free-size feature of a hat may be achieved, without deteriorating exterior aesthetical features, when the hat includes a crown portion for being worn on a head of a wearer and an elastic brim formed by a plurality of fabric panels and combined to the crown portion, wherein the elastic brim includes a first fabric panel that is non-elastic and disposed as a most exterior panel among the plurality of fabric panels, a second fabric panel that is elastic and disposed as a most interior panel among the plurality of fabric panels, and sewing stitches combining the first and second fabric panels by sewing them along a circumferential direction in an outer portion of the elastic brim.

The brim is retractable from the operative condition such that the brim substantially conforms to at least a portion of the outer surface of the crown.
