Abstract: A lined and padded trouser assembly for cushioning a groin of a wearer includes a pair of pants having a pair of shorts positioned therein and engaged thereto. A waistband of the shorts is substantially aligned with a waistband of the pants. A pad is engaged to and positioned between the pants and the shorts so that the pad is positioned over a groin of a user upon donning the pants. The pad cushions the groin from a vertical pressure applied thereto. The shorts protect skin from chafing and absorb perspiration to prevent skin irritation.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure include an athletic skirt that comprises a top end configured to be worn about the waist of a wearer and at least one panel of material extending downward from the top end of the skirt. A weighted material is coupled to a lower portion of the panel of material comprising the skirt.

Abstract: A lower garment for a female person has a mechanism that when engaged, secures the garment to the female person, and a fly opening implemented at a specific position in a fabric of the garment, the fly opening comprising a substantially straight slit of a first length covered by a flap of fabric stitched to the fabric of the garment around the slit such that the slit is covered by the flap except for an un-stitched edge of the flap of a length equal to the length of the slit. The specific position in fabric of the garment is a position that enables the female person to engage a tubular portion of an external device through the fly opening, and to move the tubular portion to her vulva and insert same to position of the urethra without disengaging the mechanism that secures the garment to the female person.

Abstract: A hitch for lifting the hem of a skirted garment, or garment set comprising a skirt and hitch. The hitch comprises a strip of flexible fabric with coacting fastening means affixed near each end of its length, securing the hitch in a loop when fastened. The fastening means may comprise a button and buttonhole, a snap, a hook-and-loop fastening system, or other fastening means. The garment set can include a hitch featuring a button and buttonhole, and a skirt that comprises a waistband and a second button, the second button affixed to the waistband. One method of removably securing in a raised position a portion of a skirt comprises passing a garment hitch under the hemline of the skirt; passing the garment hitch through the band of the garment; and fastening the garment hitch to itself, thereby forming a secured loop whereby the hitch circumscribes the portion of the skirt.

Abstract: The invention discloses a contoured, buttocks enhancing hosiery foundation garment having permanent inner structures of a buttocks enhancing system comprising an open-cell foam pad or silicone gel casing in its rear panel portion fabricated and housed in two-ply fabric portions of stretchable yarn, with a tummy slimming function which eliminates the need for additional shaping devices or girdle type foundation garment. The buttocks enhancing contoured and tapered system is laminated in the two-ply fabric of which the panty portion of the garment is fabricated. The tapered edges of the buttocks enhancing system allows for a seamless and transition to the single-ply leg portions. The contoured buttocks enhancing and tummy smoothing foundation garment allows for great flexibility and comfort regardless of the movements of the wearer due to the structure of the panty portion with the marquise diamond shaped two-way stretchable and oversized gusset system.

Abstract: A body support and sculpting garment including a garment having a front panel configured to cover a wearer's stomach and a wearer's hips, and a rear panel configured to cover a wearer's buttocks, a first support portion seamlessly disposed within the rear panel of the garment along a contour of the wearer's buttocks, and a substantially triangulated second support portion seamlessly disposed within the rear panel of the garment along a top side of the contour. The first support portion and the second support are double weave compression fabric and are configured to support a wearer's back and hips and sculpt a wearer's buttocks.

Abstract: A hip pad is provided for decreasing a waist-to-hip ratio of a user and includes a generally elongated body having a hip portion and a thigh portion that are integrally formed with the generally elongated body. The hip pad also includes an interior surface of the hip portion that is contoured to an anatomical curvature of a hip region of the user. An interior surface of the thigh portion is contoured to the anatomical curvature of a thigh region of the user. A curved exterior surface of the hip portion is configured to decrease the waist-to-hip ratio of the user.

Abstract: A multi-layered garment may comprise components that are affixed using integrated belt loops. In particular, shorts belt loops of a shorts component may pass through an opening created when single-layer skirt belt loops of a skirt component are oriented outwards. Both the skirt belt loops and the shorts belt loops may be fully functional and aesthetically pleasing belt loops. Additionally, the shorts belt loops may be combined with the skirt belt loops to form integrated belt loops, thereby allowing a belt to pass beneath both sets of belt loops simultaneously to affix the shorts component to the skirt component.

In this way, pressurization of the spacesuit produces no net sliding motion of the first and second members (102,104) along the longitudinal axis (106).

Abstract: A protective flight suit is provided including a flexible inflatable suit constructed from a heat and flame resistant material. The inflatable suit has a plurality of discrete inflatable portions including a body portion, a pair of leg portions, and a hood portion. A carbon dioxide canister is mounted on the suit with a release mechanism coupled thereto. The canister is adapted to dispense carbon dioxide gas from an outlet thereof upon the actuation of the release mechanism. Next provided is a plurality of carbon dioxide tubes each coupled between the outlet of the carbon dioxide canister and the respective portion of the suit for inflating the same upon the actuation of the release mechanism associated with the carbon dioxide canister.

Abstract: A pressure sealing bearing (13) for use in a protective environmental suit (10) is provided. The bearing employs inner and outer races (44,54) composed of a light weight, relatively weak material, such as a plastic or aluminum alloy. To provide long wear and adequate strength, the bearing includes contoured race wires (46,48,56,58) and an interlock mechanism (72,74). The ends of inner race wire 48 are designed to butt against one another to control the deformation due to compression of the inner race (44) when pressure is applied to the bearing. The ends of outer race wire 56 include interlocking hooks (82,84) which control the deformation due to tension of the outer race (54). In this way, the bearings achieve the performance of all stainless steel bearings while providing weight reductions of at least 60%.

Abstract: A garment having a pant-like portion and a skirt-like portion is provided. The pant-like portion includes a crotch section which passes between the legs of the wearer when the garment is worn and the skirt-like portion is adapted to encircle the legs of the wearer. Both portions serve as the outermost material of the garment so that the garment has a pant-like appearance above the crotch and a skirt-like appearance below the crotch. The crotch section can be provided with a device for adjusting the snugness of fit of the crotch. The garment can include material attached to the pant-like portion which extends above the waist of the wearer and gives the garment an overall dress-like appearance. The skirt-like portion can be constructed with various hemline lengths and can be provided with a panel passing between the legs of the wearer.

Abstract: A dress garment for dressing a person over the torso and down the legs. The garment is fashioned simply from a rectangular length cut from a single bolt of cloth, i.e. the garment basically is composed of an elongated fabric panel having side edges and end edges, with a retroverted portion between its opposite end edges. This retroverted portion is adapted to be disposed below and spaced from the crotch. The front and back of the garment are thus typically one piece except for styling, i.e. like a bag.
