Abstract: A clip for removably attaching a cubicle wall extension element to a top surface of a cubicle wall includes two elongate arms rotatably coupled together at an attachment portion. Each one of the arms has an upper portion and a lower portion, and the attachment portion is disposed between the upper portion and the lower portion. Each one of the arms also has a first angled portion between the lower portion and the attachment portion, and a second angled portion between the attachment portion and the upper portion. A space between the lower portions of the arms is sized and shaped to fit over the top surface of the cubicle wall. A torsion spring is disposed between the two arms so that the two arms are spring biased to have a resting configuration in which the lower portions of the arms are open and the upper portions of the arms are closed.

Abstract: Compression bands, garments and related methods are provided herein. More specifically, the subject matter disclosed herein relates to compression bands that can be used in compression garments that have multidimensional features and methods related to the compression bands and garments. The compression bands can comprise a supportive back portion having a first side end and a second side end and a front panel secured along side seams to the first and second ends of the supportive back portion that. Depending on the construction of the compression band and its use, support can be provided to portions of a body of a wearer.

Abstract: A protective garment configured to facilitate easy donning of the garment is described. The sleeves and legs are shorted and held in a donning configuration by releaseably affixing at least a portion of upper and lower segments of the interior surface of each limb. This allows the garment to be handled and donned by the wearer, without the wearer touching an exterior surface of the garment. A method of preparing a protective garment for donning and a method of donning such a garment is also disclosed.

Abstract: This invention comprises a device designed to enable a temporary solution to holding of fabric or materials. The device includes a clipping device with teeth that will snap onto the outermost layer of material. This clip is then attached to the middle section which is a piece of elastic which can vary in length from 1?-12? to allow for the flexibility of the item as to not cause damage to the material when tension is applied. The elastic is then attached to a hook that will then pierce the fabric and hook it up to the desired length pr position. The hook can vary in size determined by the type of material used to hold.

Abstract: A garment adapted for concealed carry weapons users wherein a passageway within or upon the garment is adapted to receive a flexible cord. The passageway extends from an opening on an upper exterior of the garment to a lower section of the garment. The cord is attached at an end of the passageway at the lower section and extends through the passageway, through the opening, and to a second attachment point at a removable piece. The removable piece releasably attachable to the garment. When worn, to gain access to a weapon under the garment, the user grasps the removable piece and pulls it away from the garment, raising the lower section of the garment and allowing access to the weapon. When the removable piece is replaced, the lower section lowers to its original position.

Abstract: A garment adapted for concealed carry weapons users wherein a pull grasp extends outside the garment from an opening in the garment front which leads to a passageway through the garment terminating at the forward collar of the garment and when the pull grasp is yanked downward, the lower section of the garment is raised and allows access to the weapon. The passageway comprises a tunnel adapted to receive the pull and is affixed to the lower seam of the garment.

Abstract: A garment worn under a bridal gown in a manner similar to a petticoat having vertical strips of elastic to retract the garment under the gown for photographs. The elasticized hem of the garment can be pulled from under the bottom of the gown to allow the wearer to carry the gown and protect it from being soiled. The garment is provided with a tight fitting waistband that secures around the wearer's waist. A skirt of the garment is somewhat circular with the front somewhat shorter in length than the back. Loops are provided near the hem as a means for holding the hem of the garment when carrying the gown within the garment. An elastic band from the garment's hem can be pulled from the casing as shoulder straps for carrying the gown hands-free.

Abstract: A gathering device and method for gathering a gown are disclosed. The gathering device comprises a sheet having an opening therein, and at least one cord affixed in a slip fashion along the perimeter of the sheet. At least a portion of the cord is exposed. The opening of the sheet may be elastic; or it may comprise means for obtaining a friction hold on an object located in the opening. The gathering device may comprise two cords affixed in a slip fashion along the perimeter, and that each cord has a portion thereof exposed. The disclosed method of gathering a gown includes the steps of stepping into an opening of a sheet while wearing a gown, taking hold of a cord affixed to the perimeter of the sheet in a slip fashion, and pulling on the cord to cause the gown to be gathered.

Abstract: The present invention is directed toward protective garments having a conformable backpack portion located on a back area of the garment, the conformable backpack portion being adapted to conform to equipment worn on a back of a wearer of the protective garment.

Abstract: An underwater drysuit has a zipper along the front of the drysuit. The zipper extends from one shoulder to the other and to the back side of the drysuit. The zipper has a middle section at chest level. The middle section is curved downward to form an upwardly facing extended U-shape. The ends of the zipper form reverse bends beneath the front of the shoulders. The reverse bends continue on a downward turn to the sides of each arm. The ends of the zipper terminate about midway between the shoulder and the elbow on the side of the arms.

Abstract: A water-tight diving suit has the edges of the open extremities of the sleeves and the trousers of the suit and the neck provided with a hem which is folded inwards and secured, for example by stitching, to the inside edge of the suit, so as to form a tubular pocket. A tape-like stiffening element made of elastomeric material is housed inside this pocket. The suit can be made as a one-piece or two-piece suit. In the case of one-piece suits, which combine both jacket and trouser parts, these have, in the region of the access opening which can be closed by a zipper, an edge with a hem folded inwards and secured, for example by stitching, to the inside edge of the suit, so as to form a tubular pocket, inside which a tape-like element made of elastomeric material is housed. The suit may be further provided with a separate hood.

Abstract: A device for supporting a train of a bridal gown having a hoop member with an interior area having a bar extending thereacross so as to define a first train receiving area and a second train receiving area within the hoop member and a clip connected to the hoop member so as to allow the hoop member to be affixed to a back side of the bridal gown. The bar extends generally horizontally across an interior area of the hoop member. The first train receiving area has a size and shape matching the second train receiving area. The clip member has a surface affixed to the back side of the hoop member. The hoop member is formed of a rigid material which is covered with a fibrous material.

Abstract: A chest harness (10) includes a right harness piece (12) and a left harness piece (14). Right harness piece (12) includes an elongated right shoulder extension (16) and a lower torso portion (18). A narrow flap (20) is secured to the inside edge (22) of torso portion (18). On the inside face of flap (20) is secured a set of VELCRO type hooks (25) that cooperate with corresponding loops (27) on left harness piece (14). A first half (24) of a zipper (26) is secured to inside edge (22). Zipper (26) includes a handle (28), which is carried by zipper half (24). A draw cord or loop (29) is tied to handle (28). Draw cord (29) is longer than zipper (26), so that the draw cord can extend along the zipper and past the lower end of the zipper. Left harness piece (14) includes an elongated left shoulder extension (38) and a lower torso portion (40). Lower torso portion (40) includes a plastic backing plate (42) that is sufficiently wide to underlie the lower torso portion (18) of right harness piece (12).

Abstract: A back-reinforced two-piece upper torso assembly for an articulated diving uit. The upper torso assembly includes a lower hollow rigid body of rounded shape for housing a diver's upper trunk, an upper hollow rigid body of rounded shape for housing a diver's head and being seated upon the lower hollow rigid body, and a clamping and sealing mechanism releasably coupling the upper hollow rigid body to the lower hollow rigid body about adjacent seated portions thereof so as to form a watertight joint therebetween wherein the upper hollow rigid body can rotate relative to the lower hollow rigid body. The upper torso assembly also includes a reinforcement structure connecting the upper hollow rigid body to the lower hollow rigid body along adjacent rear portions thereof so as to permit a lifting load applied to the assembly during water entry and exit to transfer to the lower hollow rigid body in such manner as to avoid stressing the watertight joint therebetween.

Abstract: An encircling sealable closure such as a neck band or collar made of a band of compressible material interposed between a three layer inflatable band at the neck of the user provides a neck seal by inflation of the inflatable band positioned between the compressible material and a substantially non-extendable outer wall. Inflation of the inflatable band deforms the compressible material to conform with and surround the neck of the wearer preventing the ingress of water past the neck seal so formed.

Abstract: A gathering clip for bridal and other gown trains, capes, and other trailing components of formal wear, is removably securable to the inside structure of the garment along a back central seam allowance therein, thus being completely hidden from view when installed. The clip generally comprises a first and a second link, each of which includes a pin which is used to penetrate the hidden hem or seam allowance which is formed within the back of the gown when the left and right rear panels of the gown and train are constructed. The two links may be removably secured respectively to the back hem of the gown beneath the waistband, and to the underside of the train at some point along the central portion thereof or as desired, and retained by buttons which are snapped over the ends of the pins.

Abstract: A bridal train for adjustably positioning relative to a ground surface. The inventive device includes a skirt web forming a portion of a bridal gown which continues into a train web for trailing behind the gown during a wedding proceeding. Retracting assemblies are secured to inner surfaces of the train web for effecting a pleating and shortening of the train web to a length substantially equal to a length of the skirt web so as to hang the train from the gown and preclude trailing of the train web along a ground surface.

Abstract: An improved medical garment is provided which consists of a flexible fabric shell for enveloping a portion of a body and two limbs of a patient. The flexible fabric shell has a first overlapping openable seam on the front covering the portion of the body, a second overlapping openable seam on a first side covering the first limb and a third overlapping openable seam on a second side covering the second limb. A first structure is for releasably fastening the first overlapping openable seam, so that the flexible fabric shell can be put on and taken off the body of the patient. A second structure is for releasably fastening the second overlapping openable seam for a quick easy access to the first limb. A third structure is for releasably fastening the third overlapping openable seam for a quick easy access to the second limb.

Abstract: A shirt-type garment, for example for an infant, has first and second female fasteners mounted thereto spaced apart on the side of the garment above the lower edge and a third female fastener located, generally centrally, on a center line above and between the first and second female fasteners. A T-shaped element has a strip carrying fourth and fifth male fasteners for detachable engagement with the first and second fasteners, and a stem depending therefrom constructed of an adjustable elastic strip which carries a sixth male fastener at its distal end. The elastic strip extends through the leg opening of the diaper worn by the person, is folded back upon itself, and the sixth male fastener is detachably engaged with the third female fastener for urging the garment and the diaper towards one another.

Abstract: A device adapted to be attached to and between a woman's skirt and slip adjacent lower edges thereof at spaced locations to prevent the slip from being displaced upwardly while being worn. The device is constructed of a strip of material having opposite surface portions, with adhesive means applied to the opposite surface portions, whereby one surface portion can be attached by the adhesive means to the slip and the other surface portion can be attached by the adhesive means to the skirt. Cover means is provided over the adhesive means to prevent unwanted contact with the adhesive means prior to use, with the cover means being provided with gripping portions to permit easy removal of the cover means when desired.
