Abstract: A pedicure and foot protection device includes a body including a heel portion and foot portion. A plurality of toe receiving conduits is attached to and extends away from the foot portion such that each one of a plurality of toes is insertable into the body and into the conduits. Each of the conduits has an open free end having a perimeter or perimeter edge. Each of a plurality of elastic bands is attached to and extends along one of the perimeters of the free ends.

Abstract: A double-layer sock includes substantially coextensive, separately knitted inner and outer layers that cooperatively form a fabric receptacle dimensioned to fit over the foot and at least a portion of the leg of the wearer. The separately knitted inner and outer fabric layers are joined by sewn attachment stitches. The attachment stitches include stitching extending completely around the open leg end of the receptacle and tack stitching located within the toe sections of the layers. The layers are each preferably knit in a manner, such as by a circular knitting machine, requiring toe closure seams. The toe closure seams face toward one another in a juxtaposed relationship, such that the rib presented by each seam is overlain and concealed by the opposite fabric layer. The outer layer preferably presents inwardly facing terry loops so as to further minimize bulging created by the closure seams. A form for facilitating fabrication of a double-layer sock is also disclosed.

Abstract: A waterproof oversock for covering a conventional sock so that outer footwear, e.g., shoes or boots, may be removed and the sock will be protected from a wet and/or dirty floor, e.g., a ski lodge floor. The oversock includes a foot portion and leg portion extending upwardly from the foot portion. The oversock is constructed from an elastic material, stretchable to fit over a conventional sock. The oversock is portable, flexible, and foldable into a small package to be carried in a conventional pant or coat pocket, for example.

Abstract: The purpose of this invention is to provide taping socks which hold the ankle so as to protect the instep or the Achilles' tendon and prevent intorelance during walking or exercising. In the taping socks which have tightening parts woven in the socks, the first tightening part 7a is to tighten the Achilles' tendon and to be knitted around an ankle part S00, and a second tightening part 7b is to tighten an arch part P00 and to be knitted around the instep part 5. The said first tightening part 7a and said second tightening part 7b are crossed in an X shape at a flection part of front side to protect the Achilles' tendon and the instep part as well as hold the ankle part S00.

Abstract: Articles of apparel and the method of making the same which include a uniquely constructed fleece liner and an elastomeric polyurethane film that will allow water vapor due to perspiration to transpire through the article, but will prevent water from external sources from reaching the wearer's extremities. The fleece liner component is constructed using a novel adhesive bonding process that produces a virtually seamless liner component that provides substantial warmth and comfort to the user.

The bottom portion is comprised of a fluid absorbing material which is not colored such as terry cloth. The bottom portion is comprised of a bottom surface, a heel and a front upper portion. The front upper portion of the bottom portion preferably surrounds the entire portion of the toes of a user. The top portion is comprised of an upper end having an opening, a middle portion and a lower end wherein the lower end is attached to the bottom portion. The connection means is comprised of any connection structure commonly utilized to secure two pieces of fabric such as but not limited to glue or thread.

Abstract: An ornamental and useful footcover and methods for producing and using the same. The footcover includes a first toe pocket adapted to contain a particular one of the toes of a foot, a second pocket adapted to contain at least one of the remaining toes of the foot, and a third pocket adapted to contain the sole of the foot. The first and second toe pockets and the third pocket are connected to form an integral enclosure to contain a medication and prevent the medication from being transported out of the integral enclosure. In a preferred embodiment, the enclosure is made from a material for forming a barrier that does not permit passage of the medication. In another preferred embodiment, the sole and toe pockets have edges that prevent the passage of the medication out of the enclosure past the edges. In use, the medication is placed in the footcover, which is then placed on the foot by inserting the toes into the toe pocket and then pulling the third pocket over the sole of the foot.

A thin guard of a hard, flexible material passing around the rider's ankle is retained at the outside of each sock, extending from the top of the sock to a line proximate the top of the shoe upper so as to protect the inside and outside of the ankle joint.

Abstract: A disposable foot covering is disclosed for protecting freshly polished, painted and/or oiled toenails from smudging, smearing or other damage so that persons can put socks, hoisery and/or shoes on after having their toenails polished, painted, and/or oiled. The disposable foot covering includes an opening having an elastic band. The coverings can also include a plurality of toe receiving areas adapted to receive one or more toes, non-stick layers located on an upper interior surface of the covering and position so that the non-stick layers further protect freshly polished, painted and/or oiled toenails from smudging, smearing or damage, and non-slip layer located at a heel, ball of the foot and/or toe regions of the covering to reduce the potential of the coverings of this invention shifting after placed on the foot and prior to the toenails drying.

Abstract: A golf sock with a golf tee holder coupled thereto. The golf tee holder is coupled to the body portion of the sock and includes one or more receptacles for holding golf tees vertically upon the body portion. The golf tee holder is comprised of an elastic material that stretches to hold the golf tees snugly within each receptacle. The golf tee holder is positioned on the body portion of the sock a sufficient distance above the foot portion of the sock so as not to interfere with the wearing of shoes during normal golf play.

Abstract: A sock includes a foot covering section that covers a wearer's foot when the sock is worn and a tube section that extends over the wearer's ankle and part way up the wearer's calf when the sock is worn. The tube section has a top rim located near the wearer's calf. A sock supporting band of elastic material or the like is located in the tube section near the ankle of the wearer when the sock is worn. The sock supporting band is spaced apart from the top rim of the sock and is located to engage the ankle of the wearer whereby the sock is supported near the wearer's ankle rather than near the wearer's calf.

Abstract: A textile substrate for seat covering contains about 50 wt % of wool and about 50 wt % of viscose rayon. The substrate can be made exclusively of wool and viscose rayon, but can also contain other constituents such as metal threads and plastic fibers, such as polyesters. The substrate can be formed as a woven fabric, for example, which comprises in the warp a mixed yarn of 30 to 70 wt % of wool and 30 to 70 wt % of viscose rayon and in the weft a mixed yarn of 30 to 70 wt % of wool and 30 to 70 wt % of viscose rayon alternating with a pure viscose rayon yarn.

Abstract: A garment device and its associated method of manufacture are claimed. The garment produced has an internal surface and an external surface, wherein the internal surface contacts a portion of the user's skin. The garment is preferably fabricated from a knitted or woven material having at least one first yarn made from a conventional garment material and a second yarn that includes an active antimicrobial agent. The knit pattern is designed to cause the conventional garment material to be predominant on the exterior surface of the garment while the yarns containing the antimicrobial agent are predominant on the interior surface of the garment. The presence of the yarns with the active antimicrobial agent on the interior of the garment resists the microbial contamination of the interior of the garment. As a result, the length of time the garment can be worn without the adverse effects of contamination can be extended.

Abstract: A pedicure sock including a sock portion dimensioned for receiving a foot of an individual therein. The sock portion has an open upper end for receiving the foot therein. The sock portion has a front portion and a back portion. The front portion has five spaced apart apertures therethrough to allow toes of the foot to extend outwardly of the sock portion. A padded flexible shoe portion is secured to a lower surface of the sock portion. The padded flexible shoe portion is dimensioned for supporting the foot of the individual thereon.

Abstract: A pair of pantyhose for aesthetic, medical and athletic purposes having left and right leg portions joined together by a lower torso portion. The lower torso portion includes a relatively large, unobstructed opening between the leg portions. The opening is sized and positioned to expose the wearer's crotch and anus areas when the pantyhose are worn by the wearer. Accordingly, the wearer may perform bodily functions, such as urinating, defecating, and engaging in sexual activities through the opening without having to digitally manipulate any portion of the pantyhose. In a preferred embodiment, the pair of pantyhose is a sheer, pigmented, monolithic, knit or woven, elastic structure. In an alternative preferred embodiment, the torso portion includes an additional resilient element, which thereby allows the pair of pantyhose to function like a pair of control top pantyhose.

The deformable member is a silicone pad affixed to an interior surface of the packing layer.

Abstract: An open-sole pantyhose garment for wearing with exercise and dancing covers the lower body of a wearer. The garment has a top section with two leg portions wherein each leg portion includes a vertical seam along the leg portion. Each leg portion includes a foot portion that encircles the wearer's foot and defines an opening on the sole through which the wearer's foot can protrude.

The appendage device comprising an uninterrupted cylindrical body of stretchable fabric folded upon itself, and having an inner vertical seam, this seam houses an unstitched area perpendicular to a horizontal seam. Its length is such that it starts at the base of the fingers and ends at the wrist of a hand and the wearer's ball of the thumb is covered. Alternatively, it's length starts at a big toe of a foot and ends approximately at the heel of a foot. Its width is such that it can fit snugly over a wearer's hand of foot with no loss of circulation.

Abstract: A dual sleeved sock is provided as a sock having two cuffs. One cuff remains on the wearer's leg in a normal fashion, while the other cuff folds down over the wearer's boots.

The user may add weight inserts to each of the socks as desired to achieve the desired rehabilitative or training effect.

The golf tee holder is coupled to the body portion of the sock and includes one or more receptacles for holding golf tees vertically upon the body portion. The golf tee holder is comprised of an elastic material that stretches to hold the golf tees snugly within each receptacle. Abstract: A hosiery item including a panty member having three absorbent crotch members provided therein, each absorbent crotch member having a pocket formed therein; and three leg portions secured to the panty member in a manner such that an absorbent crotch member is positioned between any two leg portions, each leg portion having a leg insertion opening in connection with an interior of the panty member. In use the wearer inserts her legs into two of the leg opening in the conventional fashion of donning a pair of pantyhose. The remaining unused leg portion is then gathered and the toe end tucked into the pocket of one of the absorbent crotch members. If a run or hole develops in one of the leg portions being worn, the leg of the wearer can be easily and rapidly removed from the damaged leg portion and placed into the undamaged spare leg portion.
