Abstract: A band selection guide is provided to help determine an exact size of a tooth, such as a molar, for example. The band selection guide is intended for single use and may be disposable. The band selection guide includes a tapered body having opposed proximal and distal ends, where the proximal end is larger than the distal end. A number of size markings appear on the tapered body near the distal end to indicate the size of a patient's tooth. A vertical slit is formed through the tapered body, such that the tapered body may be looped, with the distal end being inserted through the vertical slit. The band selection guide is placed around a tooth to be measured, with the size marking which aligns with the vertical slit indicating the size of the tooth.

Abstract: A restraint system includes an elongated member extending between a first end portion and a second end portion. A first handcuff is mounted to the elongated member at the first end portion of the elongated member, and a second handcuff is mounted to the elongated member at the second end portion of the elongated member. A first handle is positioned adjacent the first handcuff, and a second handle is positioned adjacent the second handcuff.

Abstract: A harness system for a clip. The clip has a base portion and a pair of elongated members, the elongated members folded over the base portion, thereby defining a gap configured to receive portions of a harness. The elongated members are separated from one another by a longitudinal opening for accommodating a rib between the portions of the harness. A gate is securably engaged to a first one of the elongated members and rotatable between an open position in which the gate does not obstruct said longitudinal opening and a closed position in which said gate obstructs said longitudinal opening. The harness is fashioned from a strip of webbing secured to a base along its midline and edges. The webbing thereby forms two pockets, each sized to accommodate one of the elongated members of the clip.

Abstract: A cummerbund belt assembly for retaining a cummerbund in a preferred position includes a cummerbund is wearable around a waist of a user to enhance the appearance of formal dress. A plurality of couplers is each coupled to and extends downwardly from the cummerbund. Each of the couplers is positioned at strategic locations along the cummerbund such that each of the couplers is aligned with a respective plurality of suspender buttons in the trousers. Moreover, each of the couplers releasably engages the respective suspender button to inhibit the cummerbund from riding upwardly on the user's waist when the cummerbund and the trousers are worn.

The accessory comprises two elements, a flexible material larger than the perimeter of a combination of a gun holster and an attaching element configures to affix the holster to the flexible material. Abstract: Magnetic clothing stay methods including gripping a first clothing item between a first body and second body of a clothing stay near an edge of the first clothing item, the first body having a first magnetic element and the second body having a second magnetic element, tucking the edge of the first clothing item underneath a second clothing item, contacting an inner surface of the second clothing item with an outer surface of the clothing stay, and thereby retarding movement of the first clothing item relative to the second clothing item via friction between the outer surface of the clothing stay and the inner surface of the second clothing item.

Abstract: A back support apparatus which includes a length of cloth consisting of a tail, body and buckle; the tail and buckle join to form a loop inside which a user sits. The apparatus and method of use stabilize a user in a seated position. The method of use is as follows: the cloth is wrapped around the users back and knees while in a seated, crossed leg position, and the tail threaded through the buckle and cinched tight in front of the users body. The apparatus is adjusted by pulling the tail further through the buckle, increasing support, or pulling the buckle away from the user's body, releasing tension.

Abstract: A backpack system or personal load bearing system uses a lightweight, SRC (semi-rigid core) and hanger suspension system, that compresses the center of the body between the xiphoid process and the lower back to a compressive force to transfer the load upward and forward while freeing up the shoulders. The SRC is provided that is made out of a semi-rigid plastic such as ABS plastic, carbon fiber composite or any other non-compressible material with similar structural characteristics. Left and right hooks pass over, forward and downward over the chest and are joined at a central coupling at a center of the human body, the “xiphoid process”, a small extension of the sternum. Right and left lower straps extend to left and right lower support sites to form a arched cage on the user. A belt wraps around the waist on top of the hip bones to limit lateral movement.

Abstract: A belt with hidden receptacle is disclosed. The receptacle or pouch opens on only one side, such as a top side, and is within a belt. Items can be placed there-in which lie flat (money, credit cards, phone) along a longest length thereof and the belt can be covered with a removable front cover. This removable front cover can match the dress or have the same pattern, fabric, or material as a portion of the dress so as to appear to be a unitary portion of the dress itself. The front cover can be attached by magnets on either end thereof, while the belt attaches to itself at ends thereof, which are at an opposite side of the length of the belt from the front cover.

Abstract: A firearm holster system and methods of use are described herein for safely securing a firearm while providing visibility and quick access. A shroud is provided in the rough shape of the firearm. One or more magnets attached to the shroud create a retaining force between the firearm and the shroud. The magnets in combination with the back and side walls of the shroud, provide protection and security to the firearm. The user simply accesses the firearm in a grip section of the shroud to remove it from the holster assembly.

Abstract: An improved race hydration system and method are provided that will enable runners and other athletes participating in competitive events using the system and method to easily and quickly access hydrating fluids without interfering with their competition pace or stride. The system may be formed from lightweight disposable components and is designed to be worn by the athlete without discomfort or distraction during competition. A hydration assembly, including a straw element with attachment structures, may be removably attached to the athlete's clothing by an attachment assembly. The straw element has a length and diameter that permits the athlete to obtain a maximum amount of hydrating fluid from an open top container while continuing to maintain a desired pace and stride. The hydration assembly is secured in place when it is not being used at an attachment assembly location that is easily accessed by the athlete when needed.

Abstract: The Liquid Dispenser that can be worn as jewelry of the present invention includes a dispenser having a bladder assembly and an outer shell. The outer shell opens to receive the bladder assembly, which includes a flexible bladder, neck and valve. The outer shell has an opening, exposing the enclosed flexible bladder to enable a user to apply pressure directly on the flexible bladder through the opening. When a user applies pressure to the flexible bladder, liquid passes through the valve for use. In an alternative embodiment, a flexible bladder is contained within a watch base. The watch base includes a flexible watch face that when pressed by a user, applies pressure to the flexible bladder. In yet another embodiment, a pump/valve device in combination with hollow tubes that store liquid enables a user to press a flexible dome on the device to release fluid stored in the hollow tubes.

The pull strap is long enough and wide enough that it can be grasped and pulled by the hand of a competitor during the competition. In one embodiment, the description describes a metal rail on a belt, to which accessories attach. The other items of the inventions are the details of the buckle and its various designs. Other attachments and accessories, plus various setups and arrangements for the belts and buckles, are also presented here.

Abstract: A belt has a retracting lanyard built into it for convenient deployment of an attachment device attached to the lanyard. The lanyard can be contained within the belt when not in use and can be extended therefrom for use. A stop prevents the lanyard from being removed from the belt and, therefore, the lanyard never needs to come off the belt. Because the lanyard retracts into a channel or slot in the belt, it does not get tangled and hung up. The belt can also include a hidden pocket to store money, notes, maps and the like. For a humpback pregnant woman, the sling is conducted through the armpit and wound over the shoulder to connect with the protection straps and the waist protection board for providing a second support force. Therefore, the lower belly supporting/holding force of the protection strap is enhanced and the pregnant woman can more comfortably wear the maternity belt to relieve the waist and back soreness and minimize the risk of humpback.

The crawling encouragement garment includes front and rear panels with one or more pockets configured to receive pressure generating members such as hollow plastic balls or elongate foam-like members. The pressure generating members apply gentle pressure to the child laying on his front side or on his rear side such that the child is encouraged to roll onto his front side and to climb up on hands and knees and thereby learn to crawl in this position. The crawling encouragement garment is provided with adjustable coupling mechanisms to reliably secure the garment to children of various sizes. One or more of the pockets may be removable when not in use.

Abstract: A necklace that does not fully encircle the neck of the user but, instead, has its two free ends with an affixing device at each free end to attach to the straps of the wearers garment or undergarment, such as a bra. In the preferred embodiment, the straps have a plurality of affixing devices vertically spaced along the strap so as to enable the user to position the necklace at differing heights on the wearer to suit the particular neckline of the attire worn by the user. In addition, the affixation and removal of the necklace takes place at the front of the wearer and thus is more convenient and easier to carry out than the use of a clasp that is intended to be manipulated behind the neck of the wearer.

The garment comprises a loose-fitting body with at least one small aperture for receiving drainage tubing and at least one pocket cloth partly fixed to the body of the garment and partly detachably coupled to the body of the garment which allows for the easy storage and removal of the fluid drainage reservoir. The pocket cloth allows for the continuing support of the drainage reservoir as the drainage reservoir becomes heavier e.g. about 1 kilogram, due to the collection of fluid draining from the patient into the drainage reservoir. The secure storage of the drainage reservoir enables the wearer to move without worry of the drainage reservoir coming loose, losing fluid, or being exposed to a non-sterile environment external to the pocket cloth. The garment may be configured for wear by male and female children and adults.

Abstract: Securing devices secure the position of protective pads on the arms of a user of the protective pads. A first strap and a second strap are placed over the head with the head of the user passing in between the first and second strap. The first and second straps connect to a third strap at a first connection point. At a second connection point opposite from the first connection point a fourth strap connects to the first and second straps. The third and fourth straps each connect to an attachment device. The attachment devices connect to the protective pads of the wearer. Each one of the straps can each be adjustable to accommodate wearers of varying dimensions. The attachment devices can be detachable from the protective pads so that the wearer can utilize the securing device in conjunction with protective pads that the wearer already has.

Abstract: A functional belt having a flexible structure can relatively reduce pressure applied to the belly and the waist, thereby reducing the possibility of disc disease, prevent hypometabolism due to the belt that does not stretch, thereby promoting good health, and maintain its function as a belt even if a flexible portion is torn. The functional belt includes a flexible part 90 integrally provided at one end of the belt to allow the belt to stretch and contract in length, a buckle 92 coupled with one end of the flexible part 90 to allow the user to adjust the length of the belt, which is fastened to clothes such as trousers, in order to prevent the clothes from slipping down, and a connector 94 connecting the other end of the flexible part 90, coupled with the buckle 92, to a belt member 30 that is made of a predetermined material.
