Abstract: Face masks and attachments to accommodate hearing aids are provided herein. The face masks include a mask body, ear loops and a hearing aid holder to removably hold a hearing aid. In some configurations, a hearing aid holder which can be detachably attached to a mask is provided.

Abstract: There is provided a wind noise reduction apparatus that has a simple structure to suppress vibration caused by an air current generated in the course of protection against the wind, while not reducing ambient sound. A wind noise reduction apparatus 1 includes a windshield portion 2 having a first surface 21 that is defined by four sides of a front end 23, a rear end 24, an upper end 25 and a lower end 26 and that is arranged to face an ear front surface and a second surface 22 that is arranged on an opposite side to the first surface; one or multiple support portions 3 stood upright from the first surface 21 of the windshield portion 2; and a catching portion 4 including an insertion hole or insertion opening 44 that is used to hold a chin strap B of a helmet and that is located between a front edge and a rear edge 33 of the support portion 3. The windshield portion 2 is supported by a three or more supporting point structure of the front end 23 of the windshield portion 2 and the support portion 3.

Abstract: A safety helmet and accessory system for construction worksites. The system includes a safety helmet that defines two apertures, each aperture being positioned on the helmet so that they will correspond to a user's left and right ears when the safety helmet is placed on the user's head, the safety helmet has a plurality of cord holder attachments attached within an inner circumference of the safety helmet. A pair of capsules, each capsule is secured within each aperture of the safety helmet. A cord that has two terminal ends and each terminal end has a securing device. And, a pair of earplugs that define a stem, the stem of each ear plug has a receiver that receives each securing device. The system provides a safety helmet that has an integral earplug securing system.

Abstract: A helmet and method for forming a helmet having a multi-density impact liner may include forming a puck comprising an interface surface and at least one side is formed. The interface surface of the puck is placed in direct contact with a receiving surface of a cap located in an impact liner mold. Next, the interface surface of the puck is thermally fused directly to the receiving surface of the cap while contemporaneously an impact liner body is formed inside the mold. The impact liner body is fused to the at least one side of the puck, and to a majority of the receiving surface of the cap. The density of the puck may be greater than the density of the impact liner body. The puck and the impact liner body may be expanded polystyrene (EPS), and the cap may be polycarbonate (PC).

The attachment portion extends from a first end of the ambidextrous face guard toward a second end of the ambidextrous face guard along a slope. A chin strap assembly releasably secures the helmet to the wearer and includes a lower flexible strap extending outwardly from each side of a central protective member. The plurality of ballistic fabric layers includes either a plurality of woven fabric layers, a plurality of unwoven fabric layers, or a combination thereof. The liquid-resistant binding tape perimetrically encompasses the plurality of ballistic fabric layers, wherein the liquid-resistant binding tape is retained in position by the binding thread; the binding thread being stitched through the liquid-resistant binding tape and the plurality of ballistic fabric layers. Together, the liquid-resistant binding tape and the binding thread retain the plurality of ballistic fabric layers in a structurally flat formation and prevent liquid or moisture from seeping into a raw cut edge of each of the plurality of ballistic fabric layers.

Abstract: A manufacturing method of a size headwear including a head covering portion put on a head and a size tape member disposed on a lower portion of the head covering portion, the head covering portion has a single circumferential length, includes forming a single set of patterns for forming a single set of pieces of the head covering portion; cutting a fabric into the single set of pieces according to the single set of patterns; sewing the cut pieces with each other and connecting the size tape member along a circumferential direction on a lower portion of the sewed pieces to form a raw size headwear; and putting a raw size headwear on a plurality of thermoforming apparatuses to thermoform a size headwear, wherein the thermoforming apparatuses have the respective different sizes. The size headwear thermoformed in this manner may be inexpensively and easily produced and maintain a predetermined stereoscopic shape due to stiffness so that it may improve an esthetic sense without doing the ironing.

Abstract: Left and right ear shades that are removably connectable to the bottom of a baseball-style cap or headband of a hardhat and fit around the back, top, and front of the ears. The shades can be positioned to accommodate the wearer. Each ear shade includes a forked clip that receives the hat band between inner and outer tines. For relatively thick hat bands, such as a those of baseball caps, the forked clip provides adequate resilient clamping force between the tines against the hat band to hold the ear shade in place. An optional removable clip fits around the top of the tines and resiliently connects near the bottom of the fork. Use of this optional removable clip allows the ear shade to be held in place on hats having hat bands that are too thin to be held in place solely by the clamping force of the fork tines.

The protective mask is preferably adjustable to accommodate various sized users and may include ear protectors to help facilitate uninterrupted sleep.

The receiving part is attached to the inside of the helmet. The ear protectors are therefore rotatable into a parking position within the helmet.

The hinges permit movement of the mounts from a first, open position to a second, listening position. First and second headphone modules are adapted to fit the headphone mounts. Connection wires connect the player to the headphone modules. The headphone mounts are spring-loaded and are retained in the second position by a latching mechanism. A release device allows the headphone mounts to return to the first, open position.
