Abstract: An activewear garment having facial opening formed on an anterior side of an upper head portion of the garment. An elastic securing band is attached to the upper head portion. The elastic band includes a top portion and a bottom portion, each portion having a first end and a second end. There are first and second gaps between the respective ends of the top portion and bottom portion of the elastic band to facilitate the insertion and removal of items intended for insertion in or on a user's ears such as, for example, ear pods and athletic glasses.

Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to an upper-body garment that facilitates upright sleeping. The garment includes an inner hood with a mesh elastic panel that is adapted to be positioned across the wearer's forehead helping to anchor the inner hood on to the wearer's head. The inner hood includes a low stretch or no stretch center panel. The center panel extends from the mesh elastic panel, down the center back of the inner hood, and further extends on to a back aspect of a torso portion of the garment where it forms a center portion of the back of the upper-body garment. Because the center panel has low stretch or no stretch, the wearer's head and neck are held in an upright or generally upright position when the inner hood is donned. The upper-body garment further includes a large volume outer hood positioned external to the inner hood.

Abstract: Disclosed is a swaddle including a main body defining continuously formed upper, lower, left side and right side portions having fasteners for maintaining the main body in a folded condition. Certain ones of the fasteners are positioned on the upper portion to maintain the lower portion, in a folded condition, over the upper portion and under the arms of the infant to prevent downward migration of the infant into the folded swaddle. Swaddle portions may include padding for comfort and define body and head portions for positioning the infant with respect to the upper portion.

Abstract: A folded article formed from a protective garment, and a method of folding a protective garment to prepare the garment for donning, expose sleeve openings of the garment for ease of donning. The protective garment is folded into a folded article that is configured to be grasped by an inner surface of the garment and prevent touching the outer surface of the garment during donning. Thus, the sterility of the protective garment can be maintained during donning. The protective garment may further include a hood and visor, and the folded article formed from the protective garment may have the same size and shape as the visor.

Abstract: Apparatus, systems and methods related to convertible garments for multiple uses. In one illustrative embodiment, one exemplary convertible garment may include a multilayered textile body having a central opening, which can be arranged in a first conformation to serve as an insulated jacket or poncho that features a hood disposed at the central opening, and, may include hand-warming and security pockets and a yoke with a closeable recess. Such a convertible garment can be arranged in a second conformation to serve as an insulated ground cloth and reversed to serve as a protective cover or blanket. The garment may feature an attached storage pouch that is stowed in the yoke recess in the first and second conformations. In a third conformation, the garment may be folded and stowed in the storage pouch to serve as a vented cushion.

The skirt is removably attached external to the full body suit around the ingress opening, and has a weight connected around a lower skirt opening. Abstract: Described is an upper garment worn by welders while welding overhead, which is made of a breathable fabric and leather. The garment has a hood comprising leather attached to the neckline of the garment body, at least one leather sleeve, and leather on one shoulder and an upper front portion and an upper back portion of the garment that is contiguous with the at least one leather sleeve. The hood may be partially or completely made of leather, and the other sleeve may be leather. The strategic placement of leather on the garment improves the garment's durability, minimizes burns on the wearer from sparks and spatter, and protects the garment from the environment.

The backpack and garment may be donned or doffed independent of the other and without assistance of another person. The harness prevents the garment from riding up and back to not choke the wearer. The garment is specially configured with expandable backpack cover panels. A backpack may be donned or doffed by the wearer alone without assistance and independent of the garment, even while the garment is deployed in the inclement weather use position. Conversely, the garment can be independently put on or taken off without disturbing the backpack and without assistance. The length of the garment may be selected to form a cloak or a jacket.

Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to a garment having a hood system comprising an outer hood and a yoke structure positioned adjacent and internal to the outer hood. The outer hood is affixed to a neckline opening of the garment along the sides of the neckline opening but is detached from the neckline opening in the back. The yoke structure is selectively attached to the outer hood in two or more disparate locations and is affixed to the neckline opening of the garment at the location at which the outer hood is detached from the neckline opening. The hood system is useable for distributing tension forces generated by pulling the front of the outer hood forward to, for example, cover a wearer's eyes when resting.

Abstract: A garment is provided including a back panel joined with a bag panel, and a closure strap. The back panel and bag panel can be used in a wearing mode while the garment is worn, then turned inside out into a stowed mode, when the garment is to be stowed, to form a stowage bag within which the garment can be stuffed, with the closure strap movable to a closing configuration to at least partially close an opening of the stowage bag and secure the garment inside the stowage bag. Abstract: Golf jackets having improved collar constructions are provided. The height of the center section of the collar is longer than the height of the first and second end sections of the collar. When closed, the collar can provide an effective weather-proof seal around the neck region. In one embodiment, the jacket has a minimal amount of panels and stitched seams. The jacket has a lightweight construction, good temperature-regulating properties, high stretch/elasticity, and an outer surface that is highly waterproof. The jacket provides the golfer with a complete range of motion so that he/she is comfortable and can play the game easily.
