Combined Nether (e.g., Union Suit, Bag Type, Overalls, Etc.) Patents (Class 2/914)
  • Patent number: 6397393
Abstract: This invention relates to a clothing combination comprising a shirt and a pair of pants wherein the shirt and the pair of pants are fastened together by a self-releasing bond. Preferably, the bond is made using hook strips and loop strips that, in combination, form a hook and loop fastener. The self-releasing bond separates in a reformable manner when subjected to severe tensile strength or shear strength but has sufficient flexibility and bond strength to enable the clothing combination to be useful in sporting activities. Multicomponent kits and processes of making the same are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6003749
Abstract: A multiple use camouflage system is described for use by an individual. The system is integrated into and remains attached to a fanny pack secured to a waist belt or to a backpack, etc. The camouflage system utilizes a sheet of flexible rectangular camouflage material (preferably translucent mesh netting) with spaced straps secured along one side edge and spaced D-rings on the opposite side edge. When deployed, the sheet material can be wrapped around the user and secured with the straps. A slit extends upwardly from the bottom edge toward the central section of the sheet, enabling the lower portions of the sheet to be wrapped around the users legs and secured with straps and D-rings, or the lower portions can be secured together to form a tube around the body of the user. The material can also be used off of the body as a fixed positional blind for hunting or surveillance. The material can be folded and rolled into the fanny pack for storage and carrying.

  • Patent number: 5624429
Abstract: A distinctive article can include an elastomerically stretchable side panel having a longitudinal dimension and a lateral dimension. A member of hook material is operably connected to a first, laterally outboard edge portion of the side panel, and each member of hook material includes a hook base layer which has an appointed fastening region and an appointed grip region. The fastening region has a plurality of hook elements which are integrally formed with the base layer and extend away from a base plane of the hook base layer. The hook elements are configured to operably engage a selected, cooperating loop material. The grip region has a relatively lower density of the hook elements per unit area, as compared to the fastening region. The fastening region is interposed between the side panel and the grip region. The grip region provides a laterally terminal edge of the article.

  • Patent number: 5621917
Abstract: A garment formed essentially as a sack, the infant's feet occupying a common compartment, the garment having closures located along the top or shoulder portions of the garment and down the front of the garment, the closures comprising a series of intermittently spaced detachably fastenable closure means. The garment is further formed so as to have an aperture for the neck and apertures for the arms and/or hands. The garment may be formed by sewing to a back panel, right and left front panels along the outside edges corresponding to the underarms, the sides and foot of the garment. Alternatively, the garment may be formed by knitting or weaving a sack having an essentially T-shaped configuration. In the preferred embodiment, the series of intermittently spaced detachably fastenable closure means comprise hook and loop closure means.
