Rotary And Cam Patents (Class 200/19.03)
  • Patent number: 11964662
Abstract: A method for allocating power between electric machines in a powertrain of an electric vehicle is described. The electric vehicle includes a gearbox having an input shaft and an output shaft configured to transmit a first torque to the wheels of the vehicle, a first electric machine having an output shaft coupled to the input shaft of the gearbox, and a second electric machine configured to supply a second torque to wheels of the vehicle. The method comprises: prior to a gear change of the first electric machine, allocating power to the first and second electric machines according to a first power ratio; in response of an intended gear change of the first electric machine, allocating power to the first and second electric machines according to a second power ratio.

  • Patent number: 7408275
Abstract: Automatically changing the tap position in a load tap changer includes noting a polarity of a first tap position of a load tap changer. A duration for which one or more consecutive tap positions of the load tap changer collectively have had the noted polarity also is noted. The one or more consecutive tap positions include the first tap position. The duration for which the one or more consecutive tap positions collectively have had the noted polarity is compared to a threshold value. A change is made from the first tap position to a second tap position with a polarity that is different than the noted polarity when the duration for which the one or more consecutive tap positions collectively have had the noted polarity is longer than the threshold value. A change may be made from the second tap position back to the first tap position.

  • Patent number: 7269103
Abstract: A tape-shaped switch (500) is provided on a base part (410). Coil springs (460) support a ring-shaped rotational drive section (450) on the position opposed to the switch (500), biasing the same away from the base part (410), so that the rotational drive section (450) may move toward and from the base part (410). First buffers are provided in association with the switches (501) of the tape-shaped switch (500), respectively. A flange (313) extends outward from the disc-shaped table plate (311) of a jog table unit (310) and is mounted on the rotational drive section (450). When the user depresses the jog table unit (310), moving the same downward, at least one of the switches (501) is closed. The motion of the jog table unit (310) is reliably detected because it is detected at a position outside that part of the jog table unit (310), which is depressed so that good feeling of the operation can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 7175390
Abstract: A switching apparatus having an actuating shaft, an actuator, at least one switch and a housing. A switching apparatus is in the form of at least one actuating guide which is connected with a first actuating guide portion to the actuating shaft and which with a second actuating guide portion at least partially embraces the actuating shaft at a predetermined spacing, wherein provided on the convex side of the second actuating guide portion is an actuating track for the switch or switches, insofar as at least one predetermined position the spacing between the outer peripheral edge and the actuating shaft is greater for a predetermined arcuate dimension than at other positions of the second actuating guide portion.

Abstract: A playback apparatus is provided, which comprises a switch device (200) that gives the user good feeling of operating. A tape-shaped switch (500) is provided on a base part (410), extending along the circumference of the base part (410). A ring-shaped rotational drive section (450) opposes the tape-shaped switch (500) and can move to and from the base part (410). A plurality of second rollers (440), each having a roller part (444) made of rubber or the like, are rotatably mounted on the rotational drive section (450). A flange (313) continuously extending outward from the disc-shaped table plate (311) of a jog table unit (310) is mounted on the rotational drive section (450). When the user rotates the jog table unit (310), the rotation-detecting section (470) provided on the base part (410) detects the rotation of the unit (310).

  • Patent number: 6667449
Abstract: A switch hinge is described having a first hinge wing, which accommodates a switch operable by a lever, having a second hinge wing and having a shaft which, in the operative position, is non-rotatably connected with the second hinge wing. The shaft, on its circumference, has a switch groove which extends in the direction of the shaft axis and into which an operating pin connected with the lever dips in a predetermined swivelling position between the two hinge wings. In a preassembled condition, in which the operating pin rests in the switch groove, the shaft is secured by a lock against rotation with respect to the first hinge wing, and the second hinge wing is freely swivellably with respect to the shaft. A screw screwed into the face-side end of the first hinge wing axially displaces the shaft by a predetermined extent out of the preassembled position into the operative position.
