Abstract: A vibration actuator includes: a fixing body including a hollow case and a coil, a movable body that includes a magnet, and an elastic supporting part that supports the movable body such that the movable body is freely movable with respect to the fixing body in the hollow case. The hollow case restricts a movement range of the movable body in the case by opposite end surface portions that are disposed to face each other at a distance from each other in the vibration direction of the movable body, the hollow case includes one or more vent holes, and the vent holes are disposed in a portion of at least one end surface portion of the opposite end surface portions, the portion being free from interference by the movable body.
Abstract: A method for making a wind turbine member wherein a plurality Of components are arranged in a mold. The inner side of the mold determines a surface of the wind turbine member. The components are connected to one another. At least one of the components is a prefabricated structural element which has a fixed geometry with an outer surface. The prefabricated structural element has a positioning projection protruding out of the outer surface and the mold has, on its inner side, a positioning receptacle. The positioning projection is inserted positively into the positioning receptacle to determine the disposition of the prefabricated structural element in the mold.
Abstract: The present invention is a reinforced connection between a distributor body and a distributor cap. The distributor cap rests on the distributor body as in the conventional arrangements. However, an additional clamp is provided to mount over the interface between the distributor cap and distributor sandwiching the components there between. A screw/bolt passes through the clamp and through both the cap and distributor body and engages a threaded portion of the clamp. By simply tightening the screw/bolt, the cap and distributor are clamped together without inducing concentrated stresses in the distributor body. The clamp may be used in a retrofit application to strengthen the existing connection between the cap and distributor body, repair the connection in a cracked or otherwise damaged distributor, or installed as part of an original equipment design.
Abstract: A distributor cap adaptor that secures an after market distributor cap adaptor to a distributor. The distributor distributes high voltages to spark plugs in an internal combustion engine. The after market distributor cap having a terminal distance diameter that is 15% greater than a conventional distributor cap. The connection of the after market distributor cap to a body of the distributor cap adaptor provides an improved insulation value that substantially eliminates ignition cross fire in the internal combustion engine.
