With Rocker Actuator Patents (Class 200/277.2)
  • Patent number: 11610750
Abstract: An electromechanical switch includes first and second stationary contacts and a movable contact. Each of the first and second stationary contacts has a respective protrusion at a mating end thereof. The movable contact defines a first depression and a second depression along a mating side thereof. The movable contact is reciprocally movable into and out of a closed position relative to the first and second stationary contacts. In the closed position, the mating side of the movable contact engages the mating ends of the first and second stationary contacts such that the protrusion of the first stationary contact projects into the first depression and the protrusion of the second stationary contact projects into the second depression.

  • Patent number: 11471962
Abstract: A signal switch for a power tool has a paddle supported by a rocker that extends into a switch housing to pivot an actuating member. A circuit board is attached to a bottom of the switch. At least one micro-switch extends from the circuit board into the switch in position to be actuated by the actuating member depending on a position of the paddle. The circuit board includes a connector that is configured to connect to a cable, such as a ribbon cable. Circuit traces on the circuit board are electrically connected to the micro-switches and the electrical connector. The interior of the switch housing is sealed from the exterior environment so that the mechanical components of the switch are shielded from the environment.

  • Patent number: 11017963
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an intelligent lighting control system including a releasable faceplate. The faceplate is used for installation of at least one base module. The base module has a base housing that forms a well and includes a first connector positioned in the well. The base module further includes a power terminal configured to receive electrical current and a dimmer circuit configured to modulate a flow of the electrical current to a load terminal coupled to a lighting circuit. A switch controller is mounted in the faceplate and includes a second connector configured to electrically engage with the first connector when the faceplate is pivoted to the base module. The switch controller is further configured to send one or more commands to the base module to control the dimmer circuit.

  • Patent number: 10687409
Abstract: A faceplate remote control device may be attached to a wall-mounted mechanical light switch that has a toggle actuator. The faceplate remote control device may include a toggle indicator that detects operation of the toggle actuator of the mechanical switch. The toggle indicator may cause the generation of an indication of detected operation of the toggle actuator. The toggle indicator may comprise a sliding member that is configured to move with the toggle actuator. The toggle indicator may comprise an obstruction detection device that includes an infrared (IR) transmitter and an IR receiver. The faceplate remote control device may include a control circuit and a wireless communication circuit. The control circuit may be configured to cause the wireless communication circuit to transmit one or more messages in response to detecting operation of the toggle actuator of the mechanical switch.
