Ratchet Controlled Patents (Class 200/419)
  • Patent number: 10775830
Abstract: An operator control apparatus, in particular a remote control apparatus is provided, comprising a splashproof housing and at least one operator control device which comprises an input assembly having a pushbutton head manually displaceable along a longitudinal axis, a rotary member rotatable about an axis of rotation and a coupling mechanism via which a linear movement of the pushbutton head is translatable into a rotary movement of the rotary member, wherein a signal transmitter is held to the rotary member in a rotationally fixed manner, which signal transmitter interacts with a sensor element arranged in the housing. In order to improve the operator control apparatus in such a manner that the input assembly may be mounted with ease and, if required, replaced with ease, the input assembly is insertable in a mounting direction into an exterior recess of the housing and is removable from the recess when required.

  • Patent number: 5004875
Abstract: A mechanism for accumulating and storing mechanical energy, wherein the energy is used to close the primary contacts of a circuit breaker. The energy can be input to the mechanism manually or by means of a motor. The mechanism includes a series of linkages which function to utilize the energy to close the primary contacts. These linkages also function to maintain the closing force upon the primary contacts, while also functioning to allow rapid contact opening when desired.

  • Patent number: 4816628
Abstract: An air gap switch is operated by a non-conductive rotatable indexing cam switch which rotates relative to two electrical contacts resiliently disposed on opposite sides of the cam. A spider with depending conductive legs is mounted on the cam. Rotation of the cam alternatively connects and disconnects the electrical contacts wherein the connection, when made, is completed through the conductive spider located on the cam. The cam is operated, pushbutton style, by depressing a main shaft relative to the housing of the air switch. The main shaft engages projections on the index cam which step the cam through a plurality of index positions.
