Abstract: The invention relates to an unlatching device (20) for public transportation vehicles, comprising a deflection rocker (4) connected to a first rotatable shaft (6), said deflection rock being connected by means of a connecting element (5), to an unlocking element of a lock and being provided with a projecting driving pin (11), and further comprising an actuating lever (8), which is mounted on the first shaft (6) and rotatable about the first shaft (6), and a cam wheel (1) connected to a second rotatable shaft (7), said cam wheel meshing with the deflection rocker (4). A rotation of the cam wheel (1) causes a pivoting of the deflection rocker (4), and thus a movement of the connecting element (5) and unlocking of the lock. Rotating the actuating lever (8) causes the actuating lever (8) to come in contact with the driving pin (11), and to catch said driving pin and during further rotation also the deflection rocker (4), whereby the connecting element (5) is moved and the lock unlocked.

Abstract: The invention relates to a horn spark gap lightning arrestor with a deion chamber (6) for quenching arcs in a housing (1) and controlling the internal gas flow for adjusting a different response of the arc produced in the case of power pulse current loading, on the one hand, and of the arc induced by follow-on current, on the other hand. For this purpose, the distance between the opposite electrode faces of the horn spark gap in the striking region is kept very small and there is only a slight widening of the distance in the diction of the end of the horn spark gap in order to prevent undesired migration of the arc in the event of lighting pulse current.
Abstract: An electrical switch provides a center contact moving between two outer contacts, at least one of which is mounted on a lever. In the event of a contact weld forming between the center contact and the lever mounted contact, unison motion of the lever mounted contact following the center contact during switching causes a strong shear force tending to break the weld. In one embodiment, a fulcrum wall striking the lever of the lever mounted contact causes increased angulation between the contacts so that unison motion rotates and peels the contacts apart.

Abstract: An electrical switch apparatus for a bicycle control device comprises a mounting member structured to be mounted to a bicycle, an operating member supported by the mounting member for movement between an operating member start position and an operating member operating position, a first piezoelectric element supported by the mounting member, and a first striking member supported by the mounting member for movement between a first striking member start position and a first striking member striking position. The first striking member is operatively coupled to the first operating member such that the first striking member moves from the first striking member start position to the first striking member striking position to strike the first piezoelectric element in response to movement of the first operating member from the first operating member start position to the first operating member operating position.
