The plug-in unit includes at least one stab configured to engage a bus, a stab shaft coupled with a base of the at least one stab, and a stab translation mechanism configured to translate the stab shaft such that the at least one stab translates from a retracted position to an extended position.

Abstract: A power operator for switchgear for use in mains power distribution systems such as public medium high voltage distribution systems, where the switchgear comprises a closed cabinet (5) with an operating shaft protruding therefrom that is rotatable between two positions and has a coupling part. The motor operator includes a housing (11, 20, 21, 27) which is mountable on an external surface (4) of the switchgear cabinet (5), and a rotatable connection shaft connected to an electromechanical linear actuator. The connection shaft has a first coupling part which connects with the coupling part of the switchgear in a longitudinal axial sliding and non-rotational interlocking manner. The housing (11, 20, 21, 27) is a tube element which is tamper resistant, is relatively easy to seal against dust and moisture, and is inexpensive to manufacture.

Abstract: The invention relates to a circuit breaker for electrical supply lines, particularly power supply lines or battery cables, for motor vehicles, which circuit breaker is comprised of a first connecting element (1), a second connecting element (3) connectable to said first connecting element (1), and a current path whereby in the conducting state of the circuit breaker a current passes between the first connecting element (1) and the second connecting element (3). The technical problem of providing a circuit breaker for electrical supply lines which can be manufactured and advantageously ensures an error-free operation is solved in that a pyrotechnic separating unit (5) is thermally actuatable by Joule heat emitted by at least one of said connecting elements (1, 3) and in that, the connection between the connecting elements (1, 3) can be released by means of the actuated pyrotechnic separating unit (5).

Abstract: A fusible electric slide switch. A fuse carrier is slidably mounted to a base, and has a pair of recesses holding fuses. A cover captures the fuse carrier between itself and the base, and has a pair of through slots aligning with the pair of recesses when the fuse carrier is in the off position so as to allow access to the fuses, and not aligning with, so as to allow the cover to conceal, the pair of recesses when the fuse carrier is in the on position so as to prevent contact with electrical components by a user. The cover further has spring contacts aligning with the pair of recesses when the fuse carrier is in the on position so as to apply a force to maintain the fuses in the pair of recesses.

Abstract: A fuse block having a rotary operator communicating with a door-mounted knob provides a handle on the rotary operator for engaging the door handle to detect closure of the door. The handle includes first and second coupling mechanisms that control the connection between the handle and the operator depending on whether the door is open or closed.

Abstract: A combination of a switch which is controllable by a grip and a receiving means for fuses held in a swivelable flap, the switch being provided on a mains side of the receiving means for the fuses and being converted by a housing, the flap being locked with the grip in a closed switching position, the grip of the switch being held in the flap of the receiving means for the fuses, and the grip being insertable on an actuating shaft of the switch merely in an opened position thereof.

Abstract: A fuse block having a rotary operator communicating with a door-mounted knob provides a sensor arm on the rotary operator for engaging the door handle to detect closure of the door. A slider may actuate a set of plates capturing a swing arm attached to the rotary operator preventing inadvertent movement of the rotary operator when the door is open.
