Plural Switch Patents (Class 200/51.04)
  • Patent number: 11017969
Abstract: A self-deactivating tethered interconnection system for a power outlet is provided, in which a circuit breaker actuates to selectively disable transfer of electrical power supplied at a source side of the power outlet to a load side thereof. A conductive tether disposed at the load side transmits the electrical power transferred by the circuit breaker. A power connector coupled to the conductive tether is configured for interconnection with a load for delivery thereto of the electrical power transmitted by the conductive tether. A proving circuit coupled to the power connector and circuit breaker includes a sensing portion that detects an interconnection state of the power connector to the load, and a trip portion operating responsive to the sensing portion to selectively inhibit transfer of the supplied electrical power to the load side. The power connector and conductive tether are thus adaptively de-energized when interconnection with the load is interrupted.

  • Patent number: 8011940
Abstract: A power socket device having switches is disclosed and has a housing, socket units, two conductive frames and switch units. The housing has bolt holes. Each of the socket units has a socket body and a pair of conductive terminals. The socket body is formed with a pair of terminal slots. The socket unit can be received in the housing, and slid upward and downward therein. The conductive terminals are inserted in the terminal slots, and selectively in contact with or disconnected from the conductive frames. The socket body has an engagement hole. The switch unit is inserted into the bolt hole, and selectively abutted against the socket body or engaged in the engagement hole, so that the socket unit can be positioned on a predetermined position on a vertical direction. Thus, it is unnecessary to unplug a plug of an external appliance when switching on or off the power.

  • Patent number: 7974058
Abstract: A group protection module for a switchgear arrangement is provided in order to protect a group of load feeders, each having a contactor for connecting or disconnecting a respective load. The group protection module has a circuit breaker for providing short-circuit protection, said circuit breaker being connected to a supply-side input and to a load-side output of the group protection module for connection to a power supply system and for connecting the group of load feeders. The group protection module has a safety evaluation unit via which the circuit breaker can be tripped if a status signal detectable by the respective load feeders indicates that one of the contactors of the load feeders can no longer be de-energized. The group protection module is implemented as a constructional unit.

  • Patent number: 7569787
Abstract: An electromagnetic switch has a shaft and a movable contact member slidably supported by the shaft. The shaft is moved with a plunger when an electromagnet is formed of an electromagnetic coil receiving an electric current and attracts the plunger. The movable contact member is moved with the plunger and connects fixed contact members with each other to turn on the switch. The shaft has a shaft body and a projection projected from the shaft body. The movable contact member has a hole. The projection is inserted into the hole to pass through the hole, and the movable contact member is disposed on the shaft body. Then, the movable contact member is rotated so as to engage the projection with the movable contact member. Therefore, the projection prevents the movable contact member from coming out of the shaft.
