Two Button Switches - (noncoaxial Parallel Buttons) Patents (Class 200/552)
  • Patent number: 10292551
Abstract: A switch assembly for a wet/dry vacuum cleaner is disclosed. The switch assembly includes a switch movable by a user between an ON position and an OFF position. An automatic shutoff assembly is operable in conjunction with the switch assembly to turn the switch to the OFF position in the event that a level of liquid within a tank of the wet/dry vacuum cleaner rises above a predetermined level. When triggered, the automatic shutoff assembly exerts a biasing force urging the switch toward the OFF position. A user can manually override the automatic shutoff assembly by providing a force sufficient to overcome the biasing force.

  • Patent number: 8541708
Abstract: A button switch includes a main body. The main body includes a switch member therein. The switch member has a start portion and a stop portion to connect with a start button and a stop button, respectively. The stop button has a first position and a second position. In a normal state, the stop button is located at the first position and doesn't drive the stop portion. When the stop button is at the second position, the stop button will drive the stop portion. Thus, the operator is enforced to press the stop button again and the stop button is returned to the first position to start the switch member, preventing the operator to press the start button unexpectedly to start the switch member.

  • Patent number: 8445797
Abstract: A safety interlocking device for a switch includes a supporting member, an annular member, a locking lever, a limiting rod and a resilient member. A driving shaft of the switch is arranged through the supporting member and the annular member, the annular member rotates synchronously with the driving shaft, and the annular member is coupled to a wing block. The locking lever is hooked onto the safety device, the limiting rod is rotated when pushed by the safety device, and the rotation of the limiting rod rotates the locking lever. When the safety device is closed, the switch is turned on and the locking lever hooks onto the safety device so that the latter cannot be opened; and when the switch is turned off, the locking lever releases the safety device, while one end of the limiting rod limits the rotation of the annular member, thus limiting the switch's turn-on operation.
