The apparatus is comprised of a body slidingly engaged with a bonnet. A trigger pivotally connected between the body and the bonnet. A spring loaded catch slidable within the bonnet and acted on by the trigger to releasably attach the apparatus to a drawer rail assembly. A threaded spindle rotates within the base and adjusts the horizontal position of the drawer. A ramp adjustably connected to the base adjusts the vertical position of the drawer by rotation of a threaded barrel. A plunger extends from a housing connected to the body to adjacent the drawer rail assembly and adjusts the depth of the drawer.

A solid lubricant of PTFE may also be provided as an interface between the cam and the spring to reduce friction therebetween.

    Abstract: The contact switch assembly comprises a rotating housing with a stalk having a hollow shaft portion, a tip portion extending forwardly from the shaft portion and a contact arm extending downwardly from the shaft portion. The tip portion extends out from the housing to engage an adjacent inclined surface. As the housing is rotated, the stalk moves along the inclined surface so that the contact arm is moved vertically and brought into engagement with a printed circuit board (PCB) while simultaneously moving laterally across the PCB's surface. The vertical motion is caused by the rotation of the housing, while the lateral motion is caused by the stalk being forced laterally by the inclined surface. The combination of both the vertical and lateral motion provides a self-cleaning mechanism by the movement of the contacts in the lateral direction.

The bending portions of neighboring sliding plate portions of the plurality of sliding plate portions are opposite to each other at predetermined intervals and are held in one surface of the supporting plate portion, and the engaging and disengaging member fits into concave portions formed between the bending portions. Thus, since the engaging and disengaging member can move smoothly without getting caught in the bending portions, thereby lengthening it's life span.

Rotational position is stabilized by cooperation between a the wiper and a contact surface or between the rotor shell and a position key formed on the housing.     Abstract: A selector switch using a digital encoder for controlling multiple functions of a vehicle accessory. A rotary switch having a body portion and a shaft is provided. The shaft has a rotary axis and terminates at a distal end that is received by a knob. A carrier is provided on the shaft in conjunction with the knob and has at least one spring and ball for engaging a detent formed in a face plate of the selector switch assembly. The face plate has a plurality of circumferentially arranged detents that are engaged by the ball to provide intermediate position stops for the knob. The face plate and knob cooperate to provide end stops for limiting arcuate movement of the knob. Redundant detents and end stops may be provided for durability and improved operation. The selector switch may be used to control headlights and parking lights for a vehicle and may provide either instantaneous control or delayed turn-off of headlights, depending upon the digital output of the encoder at a preselected detent location.
