Abstract: A switch device including a first switch, a first push-button assembly having a push surface and disposed to alternately turn on and off the first switch in response to a push force, a first spring for urging the first push-button assembly in a direction opposite the push force, a locking device including a spring and a cam for locking said first push-button assembly in a pushed-in position, a second switch, a second push-button assembly having a push surface and disposed to turn on the second switch-in response to a push force, a second spring for urging the second push-button assembly in a direction opposite the second push force, and a lug for preventing the locking device from unlocking in response to an inadvertent push force.
Abstract: A push switch comprises first and second push/lock mechanisms, and first and second switch units. The operating members of the first and second push/lock mechanisms are disposed opposite to the corresponding levers of the first and second switch units. A first driving pin whose one end is secured to the slider of the first switch unit is pressably engaged at the other end with cam member of the second push/lock mechanism, whereas a second driving pin whose one end is secured to the slider of the second switch unit is pressably engaged at the other end with the cam member of the first push/lock mechanism.
Abstract: A remote control comprised of three switches for selective operation of a multifilament incandescent lamp and an "off" switch to break a circuit completed by operation of any one of the three switches. Operation of the first of said three switches completes a circuit to a first filament providing the least light intensity, operation of the second switch completes a second circuit to a second filament to increase the light intensity, and operation of the third switch completes a third circuit to both the first and second filaments to obtain a maximum degree of illumination. Operation of the off switch immediately breaks any one of the three circuits.
Abstract: A rocker switch assembly for controlling at least one fluorescent lamp has a contact mounting block fitted in a housing, with a pair of normally closed contacts at one end of the block and at least one pair of normally open contacts at the other end. A rocker button is supported in an opening in the housing above the contacts on the mounting block for limited vertical and pivotal motion against spring biasing forces while being restrained against longitudinal movement. A preferred support means includes stub shafts extending laterally from each side of the rocker button that fit slidably in vertical bearing slots on each side of the opening in the housing.
