Fluent Solid Bin Or Hopper Patents (Class 200/61.21)
  • Patent number: 11358766
Abstract: A system for automatic reordering of replenishment stock is described herein. The system generally comprises a storage bin defining a first compartment and a second compartment in proximity to the first compartment where the storage bin is configured to store a predetermined product. A cover assembly may normally restrict access to the second compartment. When the product is exhausted from the first compartment, opening the cover assembly to access the product in the second compartment may trigger a sensor in proximity to the second compartment. This triggering causes the sensor to wirelessly transmit a signal to a processor to reorder a quantity of the product.

  • Patent number: 11079198
Abstract: The latching/locking loader mechanism of the present invention provides a quick-release latch mechanism where a user can unlock and lock the attachment of the loader to the paintball gun quickly and easily without the use of tools. The latching/locking mechanism stays locked or unlocked without further use of tools. A spring-biased gate is provided in the path of the paintballs, namely, in the feed neck of the loader. When the loader is installed on the paintball marker, via a feed collar, deflection posts on the feed collar push the gate out of the paintball path in the feed neck of the loader so that paintballs may freely pass from the storage chamber of the loader and then into the breech of the paintball marker. When not installed on a feed collar, the gate blocks the path of paintballs.

  • Patent number: 10872515
Abstract: A system for monitoring the level or amount of salt within a water softener brine tank is provided. The system includes a detection apparatus that uses at least three sensors that each measure the capacitance measured through the wall of a salt brine tank. The presence of salt adjacent a sensor causes the capacitance to increase and the sensor to report a salt present condition. Each sensor reports to a controller that will combine the signals from the sensors to detect when the level of the container is below a predetermined level. When at least one or more sensors report the salt level is below the predetermined level, the controller generates a push notification or an audio and/or visible alarm to alert the user the water softener tank needs to be replenished.

  • Patent number: 9111704
Abstract: A rotary paddle level switch has a housing, a driving unit, two switches, a resilient member, a clutch, a transmission shaft, and a propeller. A resilient clip of the clutch holds a non-circular actuation section of the transmission shaft. When the driving unit drives the clutch to rotate, the transmission shaft and the propeller are driven by the clutch. When the propeller is rapidly rotated by suddenly exerting an excessively large external force thereon, as the resilient clip holds the transmission shaft by elastic force, the fast rotating transmission shaft removes itself from the holding of the resilient clip and is rotated without driving the resilient clip to rotate, thereby avoiding the transmission of the external force and damage to the driving unit. As the clutch just needs a clutch stand and a resilient clip to achieve the foregoing function, the level switch is structurally simple and relatively inexpensive.

  • Patent number: 7579564
Abstract: A device for indicating a level of a bulk material in a bin. A motor imparts a swinging motion to a paddle located inside the bin. When the paddle engages the material, drag on the paddle causes a counteracting force on the motor, indicating a presence of material at the location of the device. In various embodiments, a paddle shaft, having very little exposure inside the bin, extends from a protective enclosure. The shaft is capped with a flexible section having the paddle attached to it. The paddle is at a downward angle relative to the paddle shaft and extends into the bin so as to engage the material. The paddle may move at an urging of the material so as to avoid damage to the paddle, flexible section, and shaft.

  • Patent number: 6439821
Abstract: A hopper feed regulator is provided for controlling the supply of feed to a hopper efficiently without having to directly contact the feed. The assembly includes a chamber having a switch contact, lever, upper hanger, cam follower and spring biasing arrangement, a second member having a lower hanger, attached at one end to the spring biasing arrangement and a cam, and the other end from which the hopper is hung. A spring biasing arrangement pulls the first and second members together at a preset spring bias strength. As the weight of the feed gathered in the hopper increases, the lower hanger is pulled away from the chamber by compressing the spring biasing arrangement. The cam, which is attached to the spring biasing arrangement, moves axially down the chamber. The cam follower, attached to the cam switch, rolls along the cam and at a predetermined weight, pulls the lever away from the switch button, thereby disengaging the switch.
