Coupling Of Fluid Conduit Patents (Class 200/61.6)
  • Patent number: 11339063
Abstract: A fluid circuit includes a plurality of tubing segments and a plurality of operative components. Each tubing segment includes i) a non-conductive polymer portion defining a fluid passageway and ii) one or more interior conductive fluoropolymer stripes extending axially to the ends of each of the respective tubing segments. Each operative component includes a conductive fluoropolymer that extends between a plurality of tubing connector fittings forming a part of the fluid circuit, wherein each of the tubing connector fittings conductively connect the respective conductor of the operative component to the interior conductive fluoropolymer stripes of the tubing segment to provide a path to ground that extends through each operative component and each tubing segment.

  • Patent number: 10844574
Abstract: A system for controlling pressure to a vacuum tank. The system comprises a conduit disposed between the vacuum tank and a blower. The conduit has a sealable connection disposed along its length between two sections that are geometrically conforming. The connection may be conical and threadless. Tilting the vacuum tank relative to the blower causes the connection to separate, allowing pressure within the vacuum tank to equalize with atmospheric pressure. Filters may be provided on each side of the connection for removing particulates from air evacuated from the tank.

  • Patent number: 7556058
Abstract: An activation assembly for activating a pump inside a dehumidifier includes a cover (1) adapted to connect to the dehumidifier and having therein a switch device (11) adapted to electrically connect to the pump. A recoil mechanism (2) is partially extended through the cover (1) and has therein a path (20) to receive a recoil spring (21) compressibly received inside the path (20) and a push (22) movably received inside the path (20) and securely located on top of the recoil spring (21). A clamping element (3) is mounted on top of the recoil mechanism (2). A connector (6) has a tube (61) selectively secured by the clamping element (3) and extending into the recoil mechanism (2).

  • Patent number: 7504599
Abstract: A housing containing a rotatable cage for rotatably supporting a spherical flow control valve having a vertically orientated open or filled conduit and an internal bottom weight mass centered on the vertical conduit. If the rotatable cage is tilted, the gravity-responsive bottom weight mass rotatably maintains the control valve conduit in a vertical orientation. If the cage is walled, the rotating cage wall will travel over the ends of an open conduit to form a seal, which effectively occludes any gas, liquid or electromagnetic beam flowing through the conduit. If the cage is open and rotatably supports the valve via annular supports, the rotating cage will interrupt an electromagnetic beam or electric current flow through the control valve conduit. The flow control valve may also have an extended open or filled conduit which may be provided with an additional weight mass, or a magnetic mass associated with a locking ring.

  • Patent number: 6541721
Abstract: A gas-burner electrical switch, which may be associated with a gas-supply cock. The gas-supply cock has a maneuvering stem (14) that is free to slide and turn about its own axis within the cock body (13) to control gas supply. The electrical switch includes a shell (15) that can be fixed to the cock body (13), and that encloses a first contact (16) that may be associated to a second contact (17) to close or to open an electrical circuit of the lighter. The switch includes a control rod (31), which is free to slide within the shell (15) and is constrained to the stem (14) in such a way as to translate with the stem (14) in both directions of sliding of the stem (14), but without being forced to rotate with the stem (14). The control rod (31) sets the two contacts (16, 17) in electrical connection at a point corresponding to at least one position of the stem (14). The two contacts (16, 17) are otherwise separate from one another.

  • Patent number: 6521850
Abstract: An apparatus (1) for delivering hot air comprises a protection structure (2) to be fastened to a wall (4) and a delivery unit (9) set to generate a continuous air flow. The delivery unit (9) is in engagement with the protection structure (2) through a ball joint (12, 13) so that it is movable between a rest position and an infinite number of operating positions. Associated with the bail joint (12, 13) is an electric switch which is switched over to a closed condition when the delivery unit (9) reaches one of its operating positions thereby starting said delivery unit (9).

  • Patent number: 6459056
Abstract: An inlet and switching apparatus for a central vacuum system includes a base body section with a back wall having an inlet aperture formed therein adapted for connection to a central vacuum source. A cover section is mounted on the base body section and extends over a forward side thereof. The cover section includes a front wall spaced from and opposite the back wall. The two sections together form an inlet housing defining a vacuum inlet chamber and this housing has a lower portion forming a dirt receiving opening that permits dirt to enter the chamber under a vacuum influence. A closure member is pivotably mounted on the body section and there is a mechanism for moving the closure member to open or close the inlet aperture. In a preferred embodiment, rails on the cover section engage two nubs on the closure member whereby sliding movement of the cover section causes the closure member to either close or open the aperture.
