The reinforced carton may include a number of first panels, a number of adjoining second panels, and with the first panels including one or more strength enhancing features. The one or more strength enhancing features may include a vertical fold line extending across the first panels.

Abstract: An external packaging for safeguarding at least one package during transportation is provided. The external packaging includes at least one carrier element with an upper side and a lower side, wherein the carrier element includes at least one base part directed toward the lower side and at least one border directed toward the upper side, and wherein the carrier element is at least partially open toward the upper side and is configured to carry the package. The external packaging furthermore has at least one bag element which is configured to surround the package carried by the carrier element. The bag element is arranged relative to the carrier element in such a manner that the bag element, at least in a maximum filling state, extends on the upper side of the carrier element beyond the border of the carrier element.

Abstract: A carrier comprises a first side panel, a second panel, and at least one handle panel. A central flap is foldably connected to the at least one handle panel, and the central flap divides the interior of the carrier into at least a first container-receiving space and a second container-receiving space. A divider comprises at least one divider panel, wherein the at least one divider panel extends generally parallel to the central flap, and at least one divider flap foldably connected to the at least one divider panel to divide a respective one of the first container-receiving space or the second container-receiving space into at least two container compartments.

Abstract: A foldable carrier is provided with a vertical support panel structure made as a first component, and an external side wall structure as a second component. The vertical support panel structure and the external side wall structure are joined together to form two separate receptacles extending from opposite sides of said vertical panel structure to hold objects to be carried in the carrier. Preferably, the vertical support panel structure is made of an untreated and relatively inexpensive material, and the external side wall structure is made of a material treated to give it good resistance to weakening when wet.

Abstract: A glued three piece folding basket carrier which has two partitions for dividing the carrier into six cells with each partition being constructed of a different material than used to construct the outside basket carrier. Each partition is glued to a handle panel and a divider flap on the end of the basket carrier and a to a side wall to form a bottle cell with walls that are perpendicular to the divider between the two sides of the carrier and which are also formed as part of the partition.

Abstract: A three piece beverage carrier has an outer ply, a partition assembly, and a box with the outer ply secured to the partition assembly and the partition assembly expanded and secured to the box. The outer ply comes from a rectangular blank folded lengthwise and the partition assembly comes from another blank that extends the transverse and cross partitions. The box takes shape from a third blank having wall panels and bottom flaps. The bottom flaps fold and glue together forming the bottom of the carrier. The partition assembly includes a transverse partition and at least one cross-partition. The partition assembly blank has a first body section, a second body section, and a handle section. The first and second body sections have a hinged connection at the handle section and form the transverse partition of the assembly. The first and second body sections further include at least one fold out section that defines the at least one cross-partition of the assembly.

Abstract: The beverage basket carrier of the invention is constructed of two separate blanks, a primary blank including the printed surfaces of the carrier and a secondary blank including the internal divider walls forming the bottle receiving cells. The blanks are designed so as to be tipped together in a straight line gluer for substantially increased production rates. The secondary blank may be formed of a different and more economical substrate than that required for the primary blank. The reduced size primary blanks enable an increased number to be arranged across a sheet or printing cylinder to increase the yield of the printing process. The resulting assembled carrier is similar to conventional carriers and suited for use by bottle fillers without altering their equipment.

Abstract: The beverage container carrier has a central panel formed of double thickness cardboard attached together for the height of the beverage container. Above the beverage container, the separate walls of the central panel fold outward to cover the tops of the beverage container. At the bottom of the central panel, the walls fold out to form the bottom and outside of pockets which receive the beverage containers. Two identical blanks can form the beverage container carrier.

The carton is made from a cartonboard blank which minimizes the number of folds and the amount of blank material required by auxillary overlying separator strips adhered to the internal separator panels located in one area of the blank that separate some of the carried articles.

Abstract: An upwardly opening tray-like carrier carton is disclosed for packaging a plurality of articles having the general form of beverage bottles, which carrier is fabricated from a pair of blanks of foldable sheet material which are cut, scored, folded, and glued up, so as to provide connected panels which form, when set up, a partitioned carton structure comprising a double row of upwardly opening bottle receiving cells disposed on opposite sides of a central bottle separating partition and handle forming panel assembly. The assembly is characterized by an upstanding partition wall extending between the rows of cells on each side of the partition and handle forming assembly which is hinged at its opposite ends to pairs of foldable end wall panels so as to enable the cells on each side of said central partition and handle forming panel assembly to be collapsed, when empty, and to be folded into flattened relation against said partition and handle forming assembly.

Abstract: A carrier for glasses or bottles is formed from a single blank of material and with a single die. During assembly the adhesive may be applied with a single line gluer, and the assembled carrier is adjustable to accommodate articles of different heights. An optional separator piece is used to separate the top rims of various height glasses within the carrier.
