Abstract: A sanitizing device for toothbrushes is described. The device has a lower housing body, and a vessel for containing a sanitizing liquid being connected to the lower housing body in an upper position according to a vertical axis. The lower housing body has removable basins adapted to contain a head of the toothbrush substantially arranged along the vertical axis. The removable basins are hydraulically connected to the vessel for the controlled flowing down of the sanitizing liquid from the vessel to the basins. The lower housing body is removably associated to a cap in an upper position according to the vertical axis, the cap being cup-shaped to enclose the vessel and possible portions of the toothbrush that project upwards from the lower body.

Abstract: A portable apparatus of component parts aligned and detachable from one another in such a way as to allow for sanitary and ergonomic collection, hands-free transportation, and environmentally optimal disposal of pet waste. The apparatus comprises a cylindrical container that when assembled with a removable base and removable lid creates an airtight container enhanced with a disposable, flushable liner that fits in the interior of the waste collection container. The top of the lid incorporates a, telescoping handle, while the underside of the lid incorporates a shovel unit that fits inside the container and is offset and aligned in close proximity to the walls of the container to ensure ample room for both the shovel unit and collected pet waste when the removable lid and base are both attached to temporarily seal the container. The apparatus also comprises a removable base cap that when attached to the base of the closed container creates a compartment separate from the collected pet waste.

Abstract: Disclosed is a toothbrush storage and sanitizing container, comprising a housing having a lower portion and an upper portion. The lower portion comprises an interior fluid reservoir and an open interior between the reservoir and the walls of the housing for retaining the handles of at least one toothbrush. The upper portion is a removable enclosure that supports the toothbrush heads in an upstanding configuration. A nozzle device connects the reservoir to the upper portion of the housing, while a heating element within the reservoir rapidly heats and vaporizes the water therein. High pressure and high temperature steam is communicated through the nozzle ports in the upper portion of the housing to subject the toothbrush heads to a burst or continuous spray of steam for cleaning and sanitation purposes.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning a toothbrush comprises a hollow container having an interior with an upper section and a lower section. The upper section is open for allowing insertion and withdrawal of a toothbrush along an axis and the lower section defines a reservoir for storing a cleaning fluid. A plurality of fins are mounted to the container and arranged about the axis to project inward toward the axis at a distance above a bottom of the reservoir. The distal ends of the fins are spaced for deflecting bristles of the toothbrush during passage of the toothbrush along the axis past the distal ends of the fins from one side of the plurality of fins to another side of the plurality of fins. An additional set of fins is provided for drying excess cleaning fluid from the brush. The fins are removable from the container for thorough cleaning or replacement.

Abstract: A cover for a dental appliance, such as a toothbrush, includes an exterior sleeve or sheath and an expansible foraminous interior cup. The head of a toothbrush is removably nested within the interior cup. The exterior sheath is formed from a pliable material which may be twisted around the head of a toothbrush to isolate it from the ambient. A disinfectant is disposed within the interior cup either by impregnation thereof or by an additional layer and which is in contact with the bristles of the toothbrush head. The disinfectant is water soluble and is activated by contact with water. A dispenser may be utilized therewith which removably stows both a toothbrush and a plurality of the covers.

Further, the toothbrush holding device comprises heavy duty plastic, with the housing comprising a cylindrical profile. The toothbrush is invertably-inserted into the toothbrush holding device such that the bristles and the head are located at a bottom of the housing located adjacent the weighted base stand. The toothbrush comprises a head with bristles and a shaft and is an oral hygiene instrument. The housing of the toothbrush holding device is about 8 inches in height and about 1½ inches in diameter thereby permitting the toothbrush to be vertically stored in the toothbrush holding device.

The carrier member and the support member are provided with a respective abutment means enabling resting of the carrier member on the support member. At least the carrier member is provided with a ventilation means and with drainage means to enable sanitary storage of the items. Both the carrier member and the support member can be used as a single standalone item suitable for sanitary storage.

Abstract: An applicator with squeegee configurations is disclosed. The applicator has a removable cover. In accordance with the embodiments of the invention, the removable cover is sealed through a squeegee edge using a suitable adhesive. The removable cover can be formed from foil, plastic or any combination of suitable materials. In use, the removable cover is removed and the squeegee configuration is used to treat, clean and/or wipe a surface. In further embodiments of the invention, a medication, a cleaning agent or other surface treating substance is seal between the removable cover and the squeegee configuration. Preferably, the device is an oral-care device.

Abstract: A toothbrush sanitizing assembly having a detachable toothbrush and receptacle. The receptacle is preferably cylindrically shaped with a closed base, an open top and a sidewall that extends from the base to the top. A receptacle cover is an integral part of the toothbrush and is attached to the neck of the toothbrush. Mateable threads, a snap fit mechanism or other type of detachable fastening means are positioned near the top of the receptacle sidewall and on the receptacle cover. A hook is positioned at the distal end of the toothbrush handle and/or on the receptacle sidewall for hanging the assembly in a vertical position. A flat receptacle base also allows the assembly to be free standing on a flat surface. The grid comprises first and second platforms disposed at first and second elevational levels with respect to the vertical wall of the brine tank. The fluid level in the brine tank can be adjusted to be higher than the lower platform of the salt grid but lower than the upper platform of the salt grid. In this manner, salt dissolves only above the lower platform part of the grid and consequently, the dirt included in the salt only passes through the lower platform of the grid. The brine well which transports brine solution from the brine tank to the resin tank is located away from the localized area in which the dirt collects at the bottom of the brine tank.
