Patent number: 8858063Abstract: A dilution kit for and a method of diluting concentrated solutions used to treat allergic symptoms are disclosed. The dilution kit may comprise a case comprising: a base; and a cover hingedly coupled to the base. A foam pad may be removably coupled within the base, the foam pad defining a plurality of vial apertures. A plurality of vials may be removably positionable within the plurality of vial apertures. The method may comprise: removably positioning at least one of a plurality of vials in an upwardly facing position within at least one of a plurality of apertures defined in a layer of foam padding in a base of a case of a dilution kit; and placing a predetermined amount of one of a diluent, a concentrated solution, and a combination thereof into at least one empty vial of the plurality of vials.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2009Date of Patent: October 14, 2014Assignee: SAPA-IP, LLCInventor: Stuart H. Patent number: 8840777Abstract: A process for treating a hydrocarbon-containing feedstock is provided in which a hydrocarbon-containing feedstock comprising at least 20 wt. % of heavy hydrocarbons is mixed with hydrogen and a non-acidic metal-containing catalyst at a temperature of 375° C. to 500° C. to produce a vapor comprising a first hydrocarbon-containing product. The vapor comprising the first hydrocarbon-containing product is separated from the mixture, and, apart from the mixture, the first hydrocarbon-containing product is contacted with hydrogen and a catalyst containing a Column 6 metal at a temperature of 260° C.-425° C. to produce a second hydrocarbon-containing product. The second hydrocarbon-containing product is separated into fractions, one of the fractions being a heavy hydrocarbon fraction comprised of hydrocarbons having a boiling point of at least 343° C. The heavy hydrocarbon fraction is then contacted with a fluidizable cracking catalyst at a temperature of at least 500° C.Type: GrantFiled: December 8, 2011Date of Patent: September 23, 2014Assignee: Shell Oil CompanyInventors: Stanley Nemec Milam, Michael Anthony Reynolds, Scott Lee Wellington, Easwar Santhosh Ranganathan, Win Sim Chan

Patent number: 6677520Abstract: A telecommunications cable management system includes fanning trays and management panels, including slidable drawers, mounted to a rack for management of cables. The fanning tray includes fingers for managing vertical cables. The cables extend horizontally through the fanning tray. The fanning tray includes hinges to access the space or the rack behind the fanning tray. A lock holds the fanning tray in the pivoted up position. One drawer includes slack management devices including a radius limiter that selectively releases to release slack at desired times. A slidable termination panel can be mounted in another drawer to allow greater access to the panel. The fanning trays and drawers are mounted to a rack for managing and connecting the cables.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2002Date of Patent: January 13, 2004Assignee: ADC Telecommunications, Inc.Inventors: Matthew Kim, Michael J. Patent number: 4865751Abstract: A separator comprises a vessel having an outer wall (2) and an end wall (3). A body (14) adjacent the end wall (3) defines with the end wall (3) an annular opening (15). In use, a mixture of, for example water and solid material, is introduced into the vessel through a first inlet (4). A circulating motion takes place in the vessel and the solid material falls to the end wall (3) and is removed through the opening (15) to an outlet (6) while clean water flows from the top of the vessel through an outlet (8). In order to increase the energy in the lower region of the vessel so as to assist removal of the solid material, water from the outlet (8) is passed through a pump (P) and reintroduced as energizing fluid to the vessel through a recirculating port (44). Energizing fluid may be taken from sources other than the outlet (8). Various alternative forms of separator are disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 1988Date of Patent: September 12, 1989Assignee: Hydro International LimitedInventor: Bernard Smisson

Patent number: 4674632Abstract: A slip case package is disclosed for holding a book and a computer disk. The package comprises a slip case having a pocket in the interior thereof which holds the disk and a space for the book. The pocket is formed by two panels of the slip case, one of which is in the interior of the slip case. This panel includes a section which is severable from the interior of the slip case to provide access to the disk. Severing the section is made relatively difficult by virtue of the size of the section, the limited space in the interior of the slip case and the location of an engageable structure by means of which the section is grasped for severing it. As a result, even though the book may be removed from the slip case and perused in a retail store by a prospective purchaser, removal of the disk is somewhat involved and requires actions which discourage theft as such actions may easily be observed by store personnel.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 1985Date of Patent: June 23, 1987Assignee: Ivy Hill CorporationInventor: Herbert Friedman
