A flexible support surface is attached to the central shaft and is rollably mounted in the casing and protrudes through the elongated opening in the casing for removably supporting a drawing thereon. A flexible, transparent cover may be supported over the flexible support surface for holding drawings or blueprints therebetween. A gripping handle is attached to one end of the flexible support surface exterior of the casing for pulling the drawings out of the casing. One end cap is attached to the elongated shaft while the shaft is rotatably supported in the other end cap to allow the drawings and support surface to be rolled back into the casing by rotating the one end cap.

  • Patent number: 4537366
Abstract: A drawing toy having a housing and a web of material upon which a child can draw, color or mark. The housing includes a generally cylindrically shaped shell formed of two generally semi-cylindrical halfs. A hollow spindle having the web of material wound thereon it is located in the shell in substantial coaxial relationship with one end of the spindle projecting from one end of the cylindrical shell. A cap is removably attached to the projecting end of the spindle so that as the cap is turned, the spindle is caused to rotate about the longitudinal axes of the shell to unwind the web from or rewind the web on the spindle. A slot is formed in the shell through which the web of material moves as the web is unwound and re-wound on the spindle.

  • Patent number: 4020591
Abstract: A tunnel-type greenhouse is packed in a mailing tube with wires constituting support-wicket halves received in a core tube on which a synthetic-resin foil usable as the greenhouse wall is wound. The wire wicket halves are joined together by short sleeves and formed into wickets that are driven into the ground in a row. The foil is unwound from the core tube which is broken in two at a central weakened region to form two stakes that are driven into the ground at the ends of the row. String unwound from the ends of the core tube is secured between these stakes and the apices of the end wickets. The foil is stretched between the stakes over the wickets and extra wickets may be engaged over the foil to hold it in place.
