Abstract: A curtain restraint assembly includes a shower stall that has a pair of opposing walls and a shower curtain suspended in an entry of the shower stall. A pair of hooks is each attachable to a respective one of the opposing walls of the shower stall. A pair of cords includes a key ring which can be hooked on a respective one of the hooks for movably retaining the pair of cords on the respective hooks. Each of pair of cords is extendable across the shower curtain thereby inhibiting the shower curtain from blowing into the shower stall. A pair of mating units is each attached to a respective one of the pair of cords. The pair of mating units is releasably matable to each other to attach the cords to each other.

Abstract: Respiratory equipment packaging and insert for a respiratory interface assembly having a respiratory interface and headgear. The packaging includes a first pocket having a first opening, and being configured to enclose and sealing retain at least the respiratory interface and the headgear of the respiratory assembly, and a second pocket, adjacent the first pocket and having a second opening. The second pocket is configured to receive an auxiliary device intended for use with, or comprising part of, the respiratory interface assembly, such as a mask size measuring device. The insert is configured to support the respiratory interface in an upright orientation and includes at least one slot configured to receive a strap of the headgear of the respiratory interface assembly.

Abstract: A lock and pin for the structural and fluid tight repair of cracks not amenable to high temperature repairs or synthetic material patches. Fluid tight pins and locks seal the crack while one or more locks prevent the crack from growing. These repairs need to endure the remaining life cycle of the machinery part while withstanding all the strain, pressure, heat and expansion and contraction of the part before the crack(s) were formed. Often these cracks evolved due to engineering design flaws that will require even greater strength from these areas than when new.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a soft-sided carry-all bag containing fixed insulated and non-insulated compartments for extensive storage of various items needed for everyday use including, among other things, food, footwear, laptop computers, cellular phones, books and notebooks, writing or eating utensils, water and drinks bottles, eyeglasses, coins, wallets, credit cards, cosmetics, toiletries, and clothing. The bag is meant to provide an individual with a means for consolidating such various items of everyday use without sacrificing aesthetic features, and generally includes a flexible main compartment for the storage of larger items, a rigid insulated compartment for the storage of perishable items, and a rigid non-insulated compartment for the storage of smaller items, each with separate access.

Abstract: A roof plug is provided that includes a plug member and a tray member. The tray member includes a recessed portion and a flange portion and is made of a rigid material. The recessed portion includes a base, has at least one opening disposed therein, and has a plurality of side walls each extending upwardly from the base to the flange portion. The flange portion is also oriented outward from a top edge of the plurality of side walls of the recessed portion. The plug member fits into the recessed portion of the tray member. At least one opening in the base provides visual inspection of the plug member when located in the recessed portion. The tool caddy optionally has one or more flexible, bendable spines, to bend the flat tool supporting base wall surface substrate into an open planar flat display configuration which retains its shape while supported on the handle of the rolling tool chest. The rolling tool chest's telescopic handles provide upward load forces counteracting downward load forces of the handle, and the equilibrium is spread equally along an internal horizontal spine, to keep the tool caddy open when opened from a close transport state to an open viewable, tool accessible state.

Abstract: A system for monitoring a lockout condition of a component includes a lockout device, a lock unit, and a reader. The lockout device is moveable between a lockout condition blocking operation of the component and an access condition permitting operation of the component. The lock unit is configured to be secured to a lockout interface of the lockout device to secure the lockout device in the lockout condition. One of the lockout device and the lock unit includes a communication module configured to communicate a data signal including an identification code identifying the one of the lockout device and the lock unit. The reader is remote from the one of the lockout device and the lock unit, and is configured to receive the data signal at least when the lockout device is assembled with the component and the lock unit is secured to the lockout interface of the lockout device.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a kit of parts comprising a cooking bag for storing food to be cooked in a microwave oven, the cooking bag having a cooking bag opening, and a pressure release closure device, configured for restricting the cooking bag opening when attaching the pressure release closure device at the exterior of the cooking bag thereby contracting the cooking bag opening so as to establish a steam conduit whereby gas pressure in the cooking bag may be released from the cooking bag during cooking in a microwave oven. Further the present invention relates to a pressure release closure device and a method of preparing food using a pressure release closure device.

Abstract: A firearm cleaning kit includes a case having a first side, a second side, and a spine disposed between the first and second sides. The spine is joined to the first side and the second side along respective fold lines. The firearm cleaning kit includes a tool-holding insert secured to an interior region of the case, corresponding to the location of the spine. The tool-holding insert includes one or more tool-holders projecting in a direction normal to the plane of the spine. The tool-holder defines an inner cavity sized to secure, by friction fit, at least a portion of a firearm cleaning tool. The firearm cleaning kit further includes a fastener such a zipper for joining together the first and second side of the case.

Abstract: An adhesive strip can adhere to objects and to a surface such as a surface in a vehicle passenger compartment to support the object within reach of the passengers. The adhesive strip is removable from the surface and provides a mechanism for folding the adhesive back so that the adhesive is covered and not free to attach unintentionally to objects or surfaces after removal from the initial surface. A method for using the strip allows the strip to be used to adhere objects to surfaces and then avoid adhering unintentionally after removal to other objects and surfaces. A method for making the adhesive strips is provided. A device for making the adhesive strips is provided.

Abstract: A public notice posting kit, method and apparatus for posting a notice around a circumference of a support such as a post, tree and the like is provided. The kit includes a flexible waterproof transparent envelope for holding the public notice, and a stretchable mounting device for latitudinally attaching the envelope around the circumference of the support. The method involves inserting the public notice into a flexible waterproof transparent envelope; latitudinally stretching a mounting device around the circumference of the support; and attaching the mounting device to the envelope. The method may further include covering an opening in the envelope with a flap to protect the opening, and hence, public notice, from the external elements. The apparatus includes a flexible waterproof transparent envelope for holding the public notice; and a stretchable mounting device latitudinally and releasably connected to the envelope for attaching the envelope around the circumference of the support.

Abstract: A plug made of a compressible and resilient material can be used in a method of reducing loss of fluid from a fluid-bearing system. The method can include locating an orifice in the fluid-bearing system, where said orifice is exposed by a disconnection of members of the fluid-bearing system; compressing the plug sufficiently so that at least the tip of the plug fits into the orifice, inserting the tip into the orifice; and then releasing the plug so that the plug expands to seal the orifice.

To enable installation of a sprinkler head concealed or visible in concrete ceilings, without costly steps for forming recesses in the concrete ceiling, it is proposed that the mounting kit include a hollow cylindrical cap with an end surface that is closed toward the outside of the concrete ceiling, a sleeve that encompasses the perimeter of the cap and a threaded element, which can be screwed into the threading and which separably connects the sleeve to the coupling piece. When the concrete ceiling is being cast, the cap is fastened to or on the concrete formwork on the outside of the concrete ceiling.

In one embodiment the fastener is a screw having a head and elongated stem, adapted to be easily manipulated by a user when using the screw as a fastener in a hinge or joint. A means of holding a screw by providing a breakaway tab or non-threaded portion of the elongated stem which can be used to align and insert the screw into a screw hole in the process of engaging threads in the screw hole with threads of the screw. After engaging the threads in the screw hole, such as after the screw has been essentially completely inserted into the screw hole, the breakaway tab or non-threaded portion of the elongated stem of the screw may be broken off at a breakaway and discarded.

A flexible fastener loops through the expansion clamp and around the takedown clamp passing through an opening in an instruction card retaining the card and takedown clamp within the gasket. The expansion clamp enables installation of gasket and expansion of the clamp without removing the fastener and without interference of the takedown clamp, fastener and card and permits observation of the card. The fastener loops through the expansion clamp and does not interfere with the expansion operation. The fastener remains intact until mounting a pipe to the gasket, assuring retention of the takedown clamp and instructions.

In this case the a user inserts the pin into a hinge of the eyeglass frame, deforms a second end of the pin to give it a diameter greater than the maximum body diameter of the hinge pin, whereby the earpiece is pivotally secured by the pin, and then removes the tab.

Abstract: The combination of lock assisting devices forming the home security protection kit of the present invention was determined as a result of extensive effort to determine the appropriate product mix to help secure an apartment, condominium, or small home, based upon visiting many apartments, condominium developments, and neighborhoods where small homes are located. These visits resulted in taking inventory of the number of hinged doors, sliding glass doors, ground level windows, and other design features that were in need of some type of auxiliary security device. Based upon this research, it was determined that a product mix of four metal window clamps, four window pins for wood sash windows, one patio door clamp for a sliding glass door, four anti-liftout plates of two different thicknesses for sliding glass doors, and two door braces satisfied the requirements of securing a condominium, apartment, or small home. Therefore, the contents of the kit of the present invention will secure a majority of dwellings.

The holding member has a cup portion which defines a socket. The composition is a filled hardenable adhesive composition including an adhesive component such as epoxide resin and a hardener component such as a mercaptan/amine-accelerated polyamide hardener which are separately present in the composition in pre-determined proportions such that the composition is workable by hand to mix the components and activate a hardening reaction.

The second plug seals the aperture which is formed when the rearward portion of the transmission is disconnected from the vehicle's drive shaft. This plug has a handle portion and a hollow cylindrical shank having a smooth outer surface which is engaged by the lip seal surrounding this aperture. Finally, a retaining strap having apertures in opposite ends thereof which align with apertures in a flange at the transmission's forward end is secured by means of bolts for example across the forward end of the transmission to secure the torque converter contained therein when the transmission is disconnected from the vehicle's bell housing.

Abstract: In a repair kit for a broken rake arm in an automatic bowling pin setting machine, an elongated rigid sleeve is slipped over the rake arm such that the sleeve straddles the break. A fastener is threaded through the wall of the sleeve and grippingly bears against the outside surface of the rake arm. The sleeve is provided with a rigid strap that extends past the end of the sleeve in order to permit the accomodation of one end of a spring thereto. In one embodiment a right and left hand kit is required for the right and left hand rake arms of the bowling pin setting machine. Two other embodiments provide repair kits that are selectively useable as either a right hand kit or a left hand kit.

The kit includes a hole cutter which can drill a hole entirely through a side face of the door, the hole being of a size sufficient to receive therethrough either a doorknob mechanism in the case of a lock set, or a lock cylinder in the case of a dead bolt lock. A template is also included which can be positioned over an edge of the door for locating the hole on the door side face at a predetermined distance from the door edge. In the case of a lock set with a latch, the template also locates the center of the end face of the door, and the kit then includes a wood drill for drilling a hole in the end face of the door of the size sufficient to receive therethrough the latch of the lock set. The hole cutter and template, and also the wood drill in the case of the lock set, together with appropriate instructions, are all combined with a single package.

In assembling the connector, the C-rings are formed as part of a metal stamping, and are urged as a unit onto corresponding ones of the pins extending through the body. The C-rings are released from the stamping by bending the latter along suitably formed fracture lines.
